Trump Has HAD IT! Sarah Sanders Announces They’re ALL Banned From White House Effective NOW!

The White House has now decided that staffers and guests will no longer be able to use personal cell phones in the West Wing.

The announcement came right after a book came out against the Trump Administration in January which was rumored to be a tell-all book of the inner-workings of the Trump Administration. One that prompted President Donald Trump to threaten Steve Bannon with legal action since the book is full of quotes from him.

NBC News reported the White House Press Secretary Sarah Huckabee Sanders as saying:

“The security and integrity of the technology systems at the White House is a top priority for the Trump administration. Therefore, starting next week the use of all personal devices for both guests and staff will no longer be allowed in the West Wing,” she said. “Staff will be able to conduct business on their government-issued devices and continue working hard on behalf of the American people.”

But what Press Secretary Sanders declined to answer was whether the White House personal cell phone ban will also apply to the President’s devices. Instead, she answered “As always we do not discuss specific security measures around the president,”

This is a measure which has been in talks since early November of last year when the media started to suffer from leaks which no one other than White House staff could have been responsible for. This ban announcement followed the release of the now mostly discredited book “Fire and Fury: Inside the Trump White House,” by Michael Wolff, which went on to reveal widespread dysfunction and infighting inside the administration.

Perhaps one of the most damaging parts in the book is where Steve Bannon referred to a meeting of Trump campaign officials with a Russian lawyer in Trump Tower during the presidential campaign “treasonous” and “unpatriotic.” Which prompted an attorney for the President to threaten him with legal action since he violated a written confidentiality and nondisparagement agreement the moment he spoke to Wolff.

Funny how after Bannon was fired the leaks from the White House stopped cold. Never again did we hear about any other problem within the White House, either with the president or-or staff.

Here is more on this mess via Bloomberg:

“The White House may ban its employees from using personal mobile phones while at work, raising concerns among some staffers including that they’ll be cut off from family and friends, according to seven administration officials.

President Donald Trump has repeatedly complained about press leaks since taking office, but one official said the potential change isn’t connected to concerns about unauthorized disclosures to news organizations.

The proposed ban is instead driven by cybersecurity concerns, the officials said. One official said that there are too many devices connected to the campus wireless network and that personal phones aren’t as secure as those issued by the federal government. White House Chief of Staff John Kelly — whose personal phone was found to be compromised by hackers earlier this year — is leading the push for a ban, another official said.

The officials requested anonymity to discuss the proposal because it’s not final.

The White House already takes precautions with personal wireless devices, including by requiring officials to leave phones in cubbies outside of meeting rooms where sensitive or classified information is discussed. Top officials haven’t yet decided whether or when to impose the ban, and if it would apply to all staff in the executive office of the president.

While some lower-level officials support a ban, others worry it could result in a series of disruptive unintended consequences.

Mobile devices issued by the White House aren’t able to send text messages, creating a hardship for staff who say texting is often the easiest way for their families to reach them in the middle of a busy day of meetings. Other staff are concerned that they could be accused of wasting government resources if they use White House-issued phones to place personal calls.

The White House computer network already blocks employees from accessing certain websites, including Gmail and Google Hangouts, meaning that without personal devices officials could be cut off from their personal email accounts throughout the work day.

People opposed to the idea also note that government record-keeping requirements mean that records of personal calls placed to and from a government mobile phone would be archived and eventually made public.

Security priorities may override those concerns. Mobile phone security has been a persistent issue for the White House, and at times some top officials have also worried about staff using their personal devices to communicate with news reporters.

In October, Politico reported that White House officials believed Kelly’s personal mobile phone had been compromised for months, raising the prospect that foreign adversaries may have gained access to data on the device.

Staffers were also instructed not to use their personal or regular work mobile phones during Trump’s trip to China earlier this month. Instead, they were assigned “burner” phones in case they became compromised by a cyber attack.

In the early months of the administration, former White House Press Secretary Sean Spicer demanded members of his staff turn over their mobile phones for random checks to see if they had leaked damaging information to the media. Spicer warned his staff that using encrypted messaging apps like Signal and Confide were violations of the Presidential Records Act.

Former White House Chief of Staff Reince Priebus proposed a ban on personal mobile phones before he left his post in July, a person familiar with the matter said. His aim was to crack down on use of personal phones to conduct official business, the person said.”

Democrats Livid, Melania Rocks 1st White House State Dinner With ‘Special Tribute’

First Lady Melania Trump is facing her biggest challenge yet as she hosts her first official White House state dinner. Like all things done by the Trump White House, Melania is doing things her way and has spent months in preparation for this main event. On hand will be France’s President Emmanuel Macron and his wife, and as details begin to leak out, Democrats are livid as FLOTUS announces a “special tribute.”

Melania Trump could have hired a huge staff to pull off her first White House state dinner. That’s exactly what Michelle Obama and Hillary Clinton did as first ladies, but Melania refused to give in to the pressure of planning such a prestigious event. She took charge of planning the entire evening with no detail too small for her approval.

CNN reports, “So confident was [Melania] Trump about her ability to handle something like a state dinner, with its myriad details, that the first lady would not hire an event planner to help, as previous first ladies have done in the past to manage the grandeur and spectacle.”

They add, “For example, the final state dinner of the Obama administration, its 14th, was a tented affair for former Italian Prime Minister Matteo Renzi, held on the South Lawn of the White House for 400 guests. Michelle Obama wore a custom, chainmail Atelier Versace gown; Mario Batali cooked, and Gwen Stefani entertained.”

For the Trump administration’s first state dinner, there will be none of that. There will also be none of the paparazzi element that has come with past state dinners; celebrity supporters of the President are harder to come by than they were for Obama.

“A smaller, more elegant event allows a guest to have a more personal experience, and that is very important to Mrs. Trump,” said Stephanie Grisham, Mrs. Trump’s closet aide, who confirmed the dinner will take place in the State Dining Room, which can hold about 100-150 seated guests.

Mrs. Trump has also been doing some homework, educating herself about the protocol and history of these sorts of White House events. This is to ensure her selections for the Macrons’ visit have meaning behind them, down to the china, flowers, color scheme, and menu, which, while American, will highlight the influence France has had on American cuisine.

“Mrs. Trump selected every item and every detail for the dinner, from the entrée to the chair cushions,” said White House social secretary Rickie Niceta.

But, as details leaked out, the Democrats are livid. First, President Donald Trump decided he didn’t want anyone there who has not been supportive of his administration, which means, yep, you guessed it, no Democrats got an invite. Trump also shunned the mainstream media; they won’t be allowed access.

Then, there’s Mrs. Trump special tribute to the Macrons, which has the Trump-haters doing backflips. Melania loves giving gifts with a special meaning, and she has outdone herself with her original choice for the Macrons and France. Mrs. Trump’s special tribute gift will be a framed section of upholstery from one of the chairs in the White House Blue Room.

Featuring a golden eagle surrounded by laurels, the chair was part of the furniture suite inspired by Pierre-Antoine Bellangé, the famous French designer who was commissioned to create 53 carved and gilded pieces for the Blue Room by President James Monroe in 1817.

Obama Freaking Out as John Bolton Begins to Purge His White House Informers

For the first full year of Donald Trump’s presidency, Barack Obama and other shadowy Democratic figures have successfully harassed our elected leader.

They did this thanks to the embedding of their people in key positions. They also managed to get some of Trump’s own appointees on “their” side.

But with the appointment of John Bolton as the new National Security Advisor, you better believe a major house-cleaning is coming.

Via The Daily Caller:

Sources told Foreign Policy that Bolton’s planned purge will start with Obama administration holdovers and eventually broaden to include leakers and those disloyal to the president.

“Bolton can and will clean house,” a former White House official told Foreign Policy.

Another official issued a warning to former Obama officials — “Everyone who was there during Obama years should start packing their shit.”

Melania will join the Clintons and the Obamas at Barbara Bush’s funeral on Saturday but White House will not say if Trump is going

The late Barbara Bush's funeral will be attended by first lady Melania Trump (pictured) her spokeswoman said on WednesdayThe late Barbara Bush's (pictured) funeral will be attended by first lady Melania Trump her spokeswoman said on Wednesday

First lady Melania Trump will travel to Texas this weekend to attend the private funeral services for former first lady Barbara Bush.

CNN first reported Trump’s travel plans.

‘Mrs. Trump intends to pay her respects to Barbara Bush and the entire family at the funeral on Saturday,’ Mrs. Trump’s Communications Director Stephanie Grisham told DailyMail.com.

The New York Times reported that the Clintons and the Obamas would be attending the services as well.

Reporters will not be allowed to attend Bush’s private funeral service alongside the current first lady her spokeswoman also confirmed.

‘The event will not be pooled as this is about paying tribute to Mrs. Bush,’ Grisham said.

Trump is following in the footsteps of her predecessors, most recently first lady Michelle Obama, who attended the funeral services for former first lady Nancy Reagan in March 2016.

Hillary Clinton, in her position as first lady in 1994, attended the services held for the late Jacqueline Kennedy Onassis.

President Obama did not attend Reagan’s funeral, as he was already scheduled to attend a Democratic Party fundraiser in Austin held in conjunction with the South by Southwest festival.

But President Bill Clinton eulogized Kennedy, calling her a ‘remarkable woman whose life will forever glow in the lives of her fellow Americans,’ according to the New York Times’ account.

‘God gave her very great gifts and imposed upon her great burdens,’ Clinton also said. ‘She bore them all with dignity and grace and uncommon common sense.’

The White House has yet to say whether President Trump will join the first lady, nor have spokespeople returned requests for comment regarding whether additional figures from the Trump administration plan to attend.

The funeral will take place at St. Martin’s Church in Houston, where Barbara Bush was a longtime member.

On Friday, the public can pay their respects to Bush at the church from noon until midnight.

In an interview Wednesday, former first lady Laura Bush hinted that first lady Melania Trump had tried to bury the hatchet between the two families by inviting her to tea at the White House

And then Saturday there will be a private service with approximately 1,500 guests, including Melania Trump.

The dynamic between the Bushes and the Trumps – despite being members of the same political party – is an awkward one, as President Trump is widely credited with killing former Florida Gov. Jeb Bush’s 2016 campaign, labeling the late Barbara Bush’s son ‘low energy.’

During the primaries, in a rare interview, Barbara Bush told CBS she didn’t know how ‘women can vote for someone’ like Trump, pointing out comments he had made about then-Fox News Channel anchor Megyn Kelly.

In an interview on Fox Business Network on Wednesday morning, former first lady Laura Bush suggested that Melania Trump had made overtures to try and bury the hatchet between the two families.

‘She invited me to tea at the White House,’ Laura Bush said. ‘She’s a beautiful woman, and very very lovely.’

‘And I think she’ll, I think she will do really very well,’ Laura Bush said of Melania Trump’s handling of the first lady’s duties.

Melania Makes an Unforgivable Change to the White House

Image result for Melania Makes an Unforgivable Change to the White House

If you’re a godless liberal, get ready to fume.

No doubt the more atheist-minded will find what Melania Trump did to the White House unforgivable, and possibly unchangeable.

We all know that President Trump has revived (or permitted the revival of) regular Bible studies and prayer gatherings at the White House.

But, before that, Melania reportedly demanded that the presidential residence be “spiritually cleansed” before she’d even step foot inside.

Pastor Paul Begley, a regular visitor to the Trump White House, revealed during an interview with Weekend Vigilante:

Melania Trump said, “I’m not going to go into that White House unless it has been completely exorcised,” according to Pastor Begley. One thing was left, a cross on the wall. “They cleansed the White House,” he said.  “They had people in there anointing it with oil and praying everywhere.”

“I have to say, when the president allowed 40 pastors to come in to the White House and anoint him with oil and lay their hands and pray on him—seven times he’s done this—that is unheard of,” Begley said. “We haven’t ever – the guy’s got flaws, we all do. But at least he is humble enough and recognizing that he needs God enough that he keeps bringing them in for the prayer.”

“And I’ve got to say this, it might have started with the first lady,” said Begley.  “I’m just being honest with you.”

“The first lady, in that five hours when the Obamas and the Trumps went down to the Capitol and Trump was being sworn in as the 45th president of the United States,” Begley claimed, “Melania Trump said to her husband – she said,  ‘I’m not going to go into that White House unless it has been completely exorcised.’”

He continued, “Because apparently during the eight years when Obama was there, and maybe even some of the presidents before him, there were all kinds of idol gods and images and all kinds of artifacts in there that were demonic, even some of the stuff from the Clinton era because they were really tied in with the Haitians.”

Chuck Schumer Declares Victory on Omnibus: ‘We’re Able to Accomplish More in the Minority’

Chuck Schumer sits with Nancy Pelosi, both smiling.

Senate Minority Leader Chuck Schumer (D-NY) declared victory on the omnibus spending bill Thursday, saying, “We’re able to accomplish more in the minority.”

Schumer said, “It’s a funny thing. In a certain sense, we’re able to accomplish more in the minority than we were when we had the presidency or even were in the majority.”

The Senate Minority Leader continued, “At the end of the day, as the minority party, we feel good about being able to succeed in so many ways. We don’t have the House, we don’t have the Senate, we don’t have the presidency, but we produced a darn good bill for the priorities we have believed in.”

Sen. Schumer also touted the inclusion of the Gateway bridge project in the omnibus, as well as increased funding for the National Institute of Health (NIH).

House Freedom Caucus chairman Mark Meadows (R-NC) lamented in an interview with Breitbart News Daily on Tuesday that the “Senate Democrats seem to be calling most of the shots.”

As Breitbart News reported, the omnibus spending bill contains language that explicitly bars funding for a southern border wall.

The omnibus also contains provisions that expand the H-2B visa-worker program, which would reduce market pressure on companies to offer American workers higher wages.

Republican leadership included provisions that will allow the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) to conduct gun research as well.

Additionally, the omnibus has the Fix NICS Act, which would allow unelected bureaucrats to remove Americans’ right to purchase firearms without due process.

The House Freedom Caucus came out against the omnibus on Wednesday night, calling the legislation an “insult to American taxpayers.”

The House conservatives sent a letter to the White House asking President Trump to reject the omnibus, calling the spending bill a rejection of everything conservatives promised the American people.

Republican leadership unveiled the legislation on Wednesday and gave House lawmakers less than 17 hours to vote on the bill.

Sen. John Kennedy (R-LA) said Wednesday that the omnibus spending bill “is a Great Dane-sized whiz down the leg of every taxpayer.”

President Donald Trump signed the $1.3 trillion, 2,232-page spending bill on Friday.

BREAKING: White House Leaker Found & It’s Worse Than We Ever Thought

It was just reported by a lawmaker on the House Foreign Affairs Committee where President Trump’s big White House leak is stemming from. If this lawmaker is right, there’s more that Trump needs to worry about than we originally thought, and we are about to prove that conservatives have been right all along.

Some top republicans are claiming that there are only a few possible sources where the leak began. National Security Advisor H.R. McMaster has a lot of explaining to do.

Conservative Tribune reported:

Trump had barely talked pubicly about the phone call during a joint news conference in the Oval Office with Saudi Arabian Crown Prince Mohammad Bin Salman before The Washington Post was reporting the leak.

Nine Major Problems with James Comey’s Involvement with the Trump Hoax Dossier

NEW YORK — James Comey took to Twitter on Saturday to respond to an earlier tweet by President Donald Trump about the Russia probe, with the former FBI director exclaiming that the “American people will hear my story very soon.”

“And they can judge for themselves who is honorable and who is not,” Comey added.

Comey was responding to Trump’s charge that the ex-FBI chief was aware of illicit activity at the FBI regarding the probe into unsubstantiated claims of Russian collusion.

Below, in no particular order, are nine major problems with Comey’s actions in the Russia probe.  This while he tweets about determining who is “honorable.”

1 – Comey signed FISA applications that cited the largely discredited anti-Trump dossier as purported evidence to conduct surveillance on Carter Page, who briefly served as a volunteer campaign foreign policy adviser.

The previously released four-page House Intelligence Committee memo alleging abuse of surveillance authority documents that on October 21, 2016, the FBI and Justice Department sought and received the FISA order against Page, and that the agencies sought the renewal of the order every 90 days in accordance with court requirements. Renewals require separate finding of probable cause each time, the memo relates.

According to the memo, Comey “signed three FISA applications in question on behalf of the FBI, and Deputy Director Andrew McCabe signed one.” The memo relates that the FBI utilized the anti-Trump dossier compiled by former British spy Christopher Steele as evidence against Page in order to obtain the FISA warrant.

The controversial Fusion GPS hired Steele’s company, Orbis Business Intelligence, to do the anti-Trump work that resulted in the compilation of the infamous dossier.  Fusion GPS was paid for its anti-Trump work by Hillary Clinton’s 2016 campaign and the Democratic National Committee via the Perkins Coie law firm.

Democrats on the House Intelligence Committee last month released a purported rebuttal to the House GOP memo, but the Democrats’ document actually confirmed that Comey’s FISA applications did indeed cite the Steele dossier.

2 – Comey reportedly did not tell the FISA court that Steele’s dossier was funded by Hillary Clinton’s 2016 presidential campaign and the Democratic National Committee (DNC).

After reviewing all FISA warrant applications on the matter, the Republican memo confirms the FISA court was never informed that Steele was working on behalf of Perkin Coie, the DNC or Hillary’s campaign.  Still, Comey cited Steele’s work to sign FISA applications to monitor an American citizen.

In an attempt to rebut the Republican argument that the FISA court was not informed about the dossier’s specific origins, the Democratic memo quotes from an explanation to the court that Steele:

was approached by an identified U.S. person who indicated to Source #1 [Steele] that a U.S.-based law firm had hired the identified U.S. person to conduct research regarding Candidate #1’s ties to Russia. (The identified U.S. person and Source #1 have a long-standing business relationship.) The identified U.S. person hired Source #1 to conduct this research. The identified U.S. person never advised Source #1 as to the motivation behind the research into candidate #1’s ties to Russia.  The FBI speculates that the identified U.S. person was likely looking for information that could be used to discredit Candidate #1’s campaign.

Contrary to the rebuttal’s characterization, this paragraph is a far cry from informing the court that the dossier utilized in the FISA warrant was paid for by Trump’s primary political opponents, namely Clinton and the DNC.  Also, the general mention of  “a U.S.-based law firm” does not identify to the FISA court the actual firm, Perkins Coie, which is known for its representation of Clinton and the DNC. Further, informing the FISA court about “an identified U.S. person” who hired Steele fails to actually identify that U.S. person as Glenn Simpson, founder of the controversial Fusion GPS.

The Democrats claim that the above-referenced paragraph proves the Obama-era agencies informed the FISA court about the “political” origins of the dossier. However, the Republican memo specifically and apparently correctly charged that “neither the initial application in October 2016, nor any of the renewals, disclose or reference the role of the DNC, Clinton campaign, or any party/campaign in funding Steele’s efforts.”  The Democratic memo fails to dispute that charge.

3 – Comey’s FISA application reportedly did not inform the court that Steele had been hired by Fusion GPS.

The GOP memo relates that the initial FISA application notes Steele worked for a “named U.S. person,” but does not name Fusion GPS or its founder Simpson. The Democrats’ rebuttal contains no evidence that Comey informed the FISA court about the involvement of Fusion GPS. Breitbart News has released a series of articles documenting credibility issues faced by Fusion GPS and its leadership.

4 – Comey’s FISA application is accused of incorrectly assessing that Steele did not provide information to Yahoo News.

A Yahoo News article about an alleged trip by Page to Moscow was cited as purported evidence against Page in the FISA warrant, according to the House GOP memo. However, the memo relates that the Page FISA application “incorrectly assesses that Steele did not directly provide information to Yahoo News.”

The memo continued:

Steele has admitted in British court filings that he met with Yahoo News and several other outlets in September 2016 at the direction of Fusion GPS. Perkins Coie was aware of Steele’s initial media contacts because they hosted at least one meeting in Washington DC in 2016 with Steele and Fusion GPS where this matter was discussed.

5 – Comey cited the dossier in the FISA applications to monitor Page even though he personally called the information contained in Steele’s dossier “salacious and unverified” months later.

Comey first filed the FISA application citing the dossier on October 21, 2016, according to the GOP memo. Yet during his June 8, 2017 prepared remarks before the Senate Select Committee on Intelligence, Comey referred to the anti-Trump dossier as containing “salacious and unverified” material.

6 – Comey cited the Steele dossier in the applications to monitor Page even though his own FBI determined the document was “only minimally corroborated.”

The GOP memo relates that after dossier author Christopher Steele was terminated months earlier as an FBI source a “source validation report conducted by an independent unit within FBI assessed Steele’s reporting as only minimally corroborated.” Still, Comey saw fit, according to the Republican and Democrat memos, to utilize the dossier in the FISA documents. He also briefed Trump and then-President Barack Obama on the dossier contents.

7 – Comey admitted to pushing back against a request from Trump to possibly investigate the origins of claims made inside the dossier.

According to the GOP memo, senior officials at the FBI were aware that Clinton and the DNC partially financed Steele’s work when they applied for the FISA warrant on October 21, 2016. That disclosure raises questions about Comey’s June 2017 prepared remarks for the Senate Select Committee on Intelligence in which he related that he pushed back against a suggestion from Trump to investigate the origins of the dossier claims.

The former FBI chief stated that following a January 6 Oval Office meeting with Intelligence Community leaders, Comey “remained alone with the President Elect to brief him on some personally sensitive aspects of the information assembled during the assessment.”

It is clear Comey was referring to the dossier since he writes that the “salacious and unverified” material was about to be publically reported by the news media. Four days after that briefing, the dossier was published by BuzzFeed.

In his statement summarizing his conversation with Trump, Comey refers to Russian prostitutes, a key component of the dossier:

He said he had nothing to do with Russia, had not been involved with hookers in Russia, and had always assumed he was being recorded when in Russia.

In a private White House dinner with Trump on January 27, Comey says the topic of the “salacious material” again came up and he reveals that Trump was considering asking the FBI to investigate the origins of the claims. Comey pushed back against that idea.

Comey writes:

During the dinner, the President returned to the salacious material I had briefed him about on January 6, and, as he had done previously, expressed his disgust for the allegations and strongly denied them. He said he was considering ordering me to investigate the alleged incident to prove it didn’t happen. I replied that he should give that careful thought because it might create a narrative that we were investigating him personally, which we weren’t, and because it was very difficult to prove a negative. He said he would think about it and asked me to think about it.

However, according to the GOP memo, senior FBI officials already knew the political origins of the dossier months before Comey met with Trump.

8 – Comey briefed Trump and Obama on the contents of the dossier in an official, formal classified briefing even though he knew the document’s political origins, his own FBI determined the document to be “only minimally corroborated”, and Comey himself later referred to the dossier as “unverified.” The briefing was subsequently leaked to the news media and started a flurry of publicity about the wild accusations inside the dossier.

As Breitbart News documented, the leak about Comey’s dossier briefing to Trump set in motion a barrage of news media attention on the dossier, including the release of the document to the public. The briefing also may have provided the veneer of respectability to a document circulated within the news media but widely considered too unverified to publicize.

The GOP memo relates that in early January 2017, prior to Trump’s inauguration, Comey briefed Trump and Obama on the dossier even though months later Comey would label the dossier as containing “salacious and unverified” material.

On January 10, CNN was first to report the leaked information that the controversial contents of the dossier were presented during classified briefings inside classified documents presented one week earlier to Obama and Trump.

The news network cited “multiple U.S. officials with direct knowledge of the briefings” – in other words, officials leaking information about classified briefings – revealing the dossier contents were included in a two-page synopsis that served as an addendum to a larger report on Russia’s alleged attempts to interfere in the 2016 presidential election.

Prior to CNN’s report leaking the Comey briefing to Trump, which was picked up by news agencies worldwide, the contents of the dossier had been circulating among news media outlets, but the sensational claims were largely considered too risky to publish.

All that changed when the dossier contents were presented to Obama and Trump during the classified briefings. In other words, Comey’s briefings themselves and the subsequent leak to CNN about those briefings by “multiple US officials with direct knowledge,” seem to have given the news media the opening to report on the dossier’s existence as well as allude to the document’s unproven claims.

CNN, for example, reported the documents state that “Russian operatives claim to have compromising personal and financial information about Mr. Trump” and contain “allegations that there was a continuing exchange of information during the campaign between Trump surrogates and intermediaries for the Russian government.”

9 – Comey’s FBI may have utilized a second dossier authored by Cody Shearer, a shadowy former tabloid journalist who has long been closely associated with various Clinton scandals.

The Democrats’ rebuttal states that the DOJ provided the FISA court with “additional information obtained through multiple independent sources that corroborate Steele’s reporting.” The rebuttal does not mention the names of the other “independent sources.”

Shearer reemerged in the news cycle in recent weeks when the Guardian newspaper reported that the FBI has been utilizing a second dossier authored by Shearer as part of its probe into Trump and alleged Russian collusion.

The Guardian reported the so-called Shearer memo was given to the FBI by Steele in October 2016 to back up some of his claims.

According to the Guardian report, the FBI was still assessing portions of the Shearer memo at the time the Guardian article was released. The newspaper reported that, like Steele’s dossier, Shearer’s memo cites an “unnamed source within Russia’s FSB” alleging that Trump was compromised by Russian intelligence during a 2013 trip to Moscow in which the future president purportedly engaged in “lewd acts in a five-star hotel.”

Shearer’s name was reportedly associated with a criminal referral of Steele by Sens. Chuck Grassley (R-IA) and Lindsey Graham (R-SC). That referral contains partially redacted sentences that Steele received information from someone in the State Department, who in turn had been in contact with a “foreign sub-source” who was in touch with a redacted name described as a “friend of the Clintons.”

Numerous media reports have since stated that the second dossier author mentioned in the Grassley-Graham memo was Shearer, an associate of longtime Clinton friend Sidney Blumenthal.

According to sources who spoke to CNN, Shearer’s information was passed from Blumenthal to Jonathan Winer, who at the time was a special State Department envoy for Libya working under then-Secretary of State John Kerry.

Citing the same source, CNN reported that Shearer’s dossier is “actually a set of notes based on conversations with reporters and other sources.” CNN reported that Shearer had “circulated those notes to assorted journalists, as well as to Blumenthal.”

Winer subsequently penned a Washington Post oped in which he conceded that while he was working at the State Department, he exchanged documents and information with Steele and that some of the information passed to Steele originated with Shearer. Winer acknowledged that he shared anti-Trump material with Steele passed to him by Sidney Blumenthal.

National Review previously dubbed Shearer a “Creepy Clinton Confidante” and “The Strangest Character in Hillary’s Vast Left-Wing Conspiracy.”

Nolte: Trump Delivers Peace and Prosperity as Chicken Little Media Freak Out — Again

Of course, what happens in the White House is news. Everything involving a U.S. president is news. This includes personnel changes, and we have covered those here at Breitbart. What is beyond absurd, though, what is so far out of touch with mainstream America, are the media’s unrelenting obsession and constant freakout over castle intrigue.

Because, honestly, out here in the real world, no one gives a hi-ho-hearty damn about who is up/down/in/out in the West Wing. Even if we believe the news reports (and smart people mostly do not), the machinations, gossip, innuendo, melodrama, and whisper campaigns have no effect whatsoever on us.

And we certainly do not judge how well the ship of state is being steered based on what we are told by a sinking media institution with a 22 percent approval rating.

About two years ago, it happened to me at the dump. Even in the middle of an intense workweek during an intense presidential campaign, the garbage must be dealt with. And so, with my brain completely fried by cable news and social media, and as I was unloading all that trash, I realized that no one else unloading their trash cared at all about My World. They were just living their lives.

Later that week, the same thing happened at Walmart and Lowe’s Hardware and church, the place where I get what is left of my hair cut…No one cared about My World because My World was not even a world. It was a bubble generated by the aforementioned cable news and social media.

No joke, my own personal Road to Damascus moment happened at a landfill. That was when I began to realize that the media do not reflect or even report on reality, but rather attempt to manufacture a reality to suit a political agenda, which is exactly what is happening now. (That was also when I removed that pipeline of poison from my home by canceling my cable TV.)

The chasm between the media and the real world grew a little wider last week.

In their never-ending effort to trip up Trump, 500 left-wing pundits-disguised-as-journalists coordinated all of their focus on…White House personnel issues. Things must be going awfully well in the world when the media are allowed to enjoy the luxury of gossiping non-stop about what is happening in the human resources department.

Meanwhile, out here in the Real World, all we can see is that things are at long last looking up.

Wages up are, taxes are down, decent jobs are being created, optimism has returned, the stock market is headed in the right direction, ISIS is shattered, we are not starting any stupid wars, and even as the media manufacture one hurricane after another, our president keeps right on keeping on.

Last week is a perfect example. While the media were telling us it was time to freak out because someone named Hicks resigned (no offense, but who?), Trump was keeping another big campaign promise, breaking another economic record (in a good way), actively engaged in seeking a real solution to these school shootings, doing presidential things like attending the funeral of Rev. Billy Graham, and using his social media accounts to speak directly to us — to keep us up to date, not only with what he is doing, but with his thought process.

While Trump is Steady Freddie, while he keeps his promises (at a record level), and fixes the economy, the only institution that is out of control, frenzied, and neurotic, is the media. But these days, everything destabilizes and panics the media. This Fourth Estate of ours, which has no poise, grace, or gravitas, can keep right on pushing that panic button; no one with half a brain is falling for it.

While Chicken Little assures us the sky is falling, out here in Real America, and for the first time since September 10, 2001, all we see is the long overdue return of peace and prosperity.

The media should think about taking out their trash. Because we are just not listening anymore…

And this is why Trump is moving his re-election resources to Facebook.
