Hannity Pulls Skeletons Out Of Mueller’s Closet… “He’s No Angel”

Fox News’ Sean Hannity has been one of the few in the mainstream media who hasn’t bowed to the deep state and has continued to fight for and defend President Trump from countless frivolous attacks.

What he just dug up about special counsel Robert Mueller could absolutely flip this entire investigation on end — at least we hope it does. This guy isn’t the angel the media wants you to think he is…

Daily Caller reports:

Fox News host Sean Hannity devoted time on his Tuesday show to examining the past of special counsel Robert Mueller and his findings were intriguing.

Hannity referred to a report from Fox News’ Sarah Carter citing Mueller’s career as a prosecutor in the 1980s. When Mueller was serving as assistant U.S. attorney, four men were wrongfully convicted and imprisoned for a crime they did not commit and the special counsel was in charge of the case when it happened.

“Robert Mueller’s career has been anything but impeccable,” Hannity said. “One of the worst stains on his record comes from his time Boston, where he served as assistant U.S. attorney and acting U.S. attorney in the ’80s. During this time notorious Boston mob boss Whitey Bulger, he was actively engaged by the FBI as an informant. The relationship between Bulger and the bureau was wrought with nothing but corruption and criminal collusion.”

“Bulger’s FBI handler, guy by the name of John Connolly covered up for many of the horrific crimes that were committed by Bulger and his associates, including one instance where four men were wrongfully framed and convicted and imprisoned for decades — all for a murder it turns out they did not commit,” Hannity continued. “The men were ultimately exonerated. A judge awarded $101 million in damages, but not before two of the men actually died in prison. Robert Mueller was the U.S. attorney in charge while these men were rotting in prison while certain agents in the FBI under Mueller covered up the truth.”

Hannity said it’s vital the country find out what Mueller knew and when he knew it and believes the media and Congress are propping him up as a hero to support a political agenda.

“When did [Robert Mueller] know about all of this this? These are questions I’m sure you have not heard from your friends in the liberal media. Some members of Congress, the media, they’re praising Mueller. The pillar of honesty. The pillar of virtue,” Hannity said. “They’ve never investigated him. They’re actually just lying. It’s their talking point. All the information we’re telling you about is right there, right in front of the liberal mainstream media in their faces. They purposely ignore it because their destroy Trump agenda — that goes above all else.”

“Robert Mueller has an agenda. He’s carrying out a witch hunt. This is par for the course,” Hannity concluded.

Hannity’s ethics under fire

Fox News host’s failure to disclose his relationship with Trump attorney Michael Cohen puts his credibility on the line.

Sean Hannity has wavered over the years on whether he is a journalist or conservative activist, but ethics specialists say that whichever hat the Fox News host was wearing last week when he condemned the FBI raid on attorney Michael Cohen’s office, he should have disclosed that he’s a client of Cohen’s.

“It doesn’t matter if you’re a newspaper reporter or an opinion journalist,” said Indira Lakshmanan, the journalism ethics chair at the Poynter Institute. “If you want to maintain credibility with an audience, and be honest with them, you have to disclose all facts.”

Just hours after the raid on the office of Cohen, President Donald Trump’s personal lawyer, Hannity inveighed that special counsel Robert Mueller had “declared war against the president of the United States.” But Hannity didn’t disclose that he, too, had received legal advice from Cohen. Hannity’s relationship with the embattled attorney was revealed during Monday’s hearing over materials gathered during the raid — and only after a judge pressed Cohen’s attorney on the identity of a previously unnamed third client.

The omission raised questions about whether Hannity had violated journalistic ethics — or whether he was a journalist at all.

Hannity has shifted in recent years on that point. “I never claimed to be a journalist,” Hannity told The New York Times in 2016 when asked about his informal advising of then-candidate Trump. The next year, Hannity referred to himself in a Times magazine profile as an “opinion journalist” or “advocacy journalist.” He said last month that his show “breaks news daily” in response to colleague Shep Smith characterizing Fox News’ prime-time lineup as entertainment.

Kathleen Bartzen Culver, director of the Center for Journalism Ethics at the University of Wisconsin, said you don’t “move out of the realm of ethics when we move into the realm of opinion.” She said commentators should still be expected to maintain independence from subjects they are covering and disclose relevant ties.

“This is not a small matter,” she said. “We’re talking about one of the most important new stories of this time and he did not disclose his connection to it while commenting on it. His audience deserves to know when he has connections that may be affecting that commentary.”

Bartzen Culver added: “An organization needs to have standards for the people who do its reporting or commenting.”

Hannity, the top-rated Fox News host and an especially influential voice in the Trump era, appears to have few constraints at the network. He immediately began discussing the Cohen situation on his afternoon radio show and tweeted responses to the controversy.

A Fox News spokesperson did not directly respond to a question about Hannity not disclosing his relationship to Cohen, but provided a statement from the host.

“Michael Cohen has never represented me in any matter. I never retained him, received an invoice, or paid legal fees,” Hannity said. “I have occasionally had brief discussions with him about legal questions about which I wanted his input and perspective. I assumed those conversations were confidential, but to be absolutely clear they never involved any matter between me and a third party.”

On Twitter, Hannity disputed reporting by Vanity Fair’s Gabriel Sherman that he brought in Cohen last year when facing an advertiser boycott spurred by progressive groups over his fueling of the Seth Rich conspiracy theory. “What part of Michael and I never discussed anything that involved any third party is so hard to understand?” Hannity tweeted.

On Fox News’ “The Five,” Juan Williams said there was no evidence Cohen was involved in any third-party disputes on Hannity’s behalf, as was the case with Trump and Republican National Committee Deputy Finance Chair Elliott Broidy. Cohen arranged to pay $130,000 to adult film star Stormy Daniels for her silence over an alleged affair with Trump and reportedly negotiated a $1.6 million payment to a former Playboy model who claimed Broidy impregnated her.

But Williams questioned why Hannity “didn’t disclose this earlier.”

“Why when Sean was on the air, strongly an advocate for President Trump, not saying, ‘Hey, I’ve got a relationship with the lawyer?’” Williams asked. “I think that’s a question.”

February Ratings: Fox News and Sean Hannity on Top — CNN and Chris Cuomo in Freefall

NEW YORK, NY - APRIL 21: TV personality Willie Robertson (L) and Host Sean Hannity host of FOX's 'Hannity With Sean Hannity' at FOX Studios on April 21, 2014 in New York City. (Photo by Paul Zimmerman/Getty Images)

With an average of 3.3 million viewers, Fox News anchor Sean Hannity extends his status as the King of Cable News to five months, reports Forbes.

In second place is Fox’s Tucker Carlson, who averaged 3.144 million viewers.

Next up is the now-deposed Rachel Maddow, whose MSNBC show was number one in 2017. She is now in third place with 2.874 million average viewers.

Of every basic cable channel, including ESPN, USA, TNT, etc., Fox News is the most-watched and has been for 20 straight months.

Overall, Fox averaged a whopping 2.8 million viewers during primetime and only lost -3 percent of viewers when compared to February of last year.

CNN, on the other hand, is collapsing.

The far-left cable channel averaged only a measly 979,000 primetime viewers, a catastrophic drop of -16 percent when compared to last year. The anti-Trump network lost a whopping -19 percent of its total day viewers.

With its ongoing and well-documented fake news crisis, Democrats appear to be fleeing in droves from the basement-rated CNN, choosing instead to watch MSNBC. CNN’s entire foundation is based on the existential lie that it is an unbiased and objective news outlet. MSNBC is not only not as hysterically far left as CNN, it does not lie about its biases. And so, MSNBC captured nearly twice as many primetime viewers as CNN (1.805 million) and grew its audience by slightly better margins then CNN’s double-digit shrinkage.

Nevertheless, Fox News’s 2.8 million primetime viewers almost perfectly equals the combined viewership of CNN and MSNBC.

The news gets even worse for the disgraced CNN when you look at the individual shows. Not a single CNN program ranks in the top 20. Anderson Cooper finally pops up at #24.

And waaaaaay at the bottom is Chris Cuomo’s widely-ridiculed morning  show New Day. Other than MSNBC’s and CNN’s super-early 5am programs, New Day is the least watched program of the three major cable news networks, coming in at a humiliating #42 with only 607,000 total viewers.

Even MSNBC’s Morning Joe wallops Fredo, with 1.061 million viewers.

Fox and Friend almost wallops them both combined with 1.6 million viewers.

Additionally, Anderson Cooper was the only CNN anchor able to barely squeak over a million average viewers (1.077 million). No one else at CNN could even do that.

CNN’s credibility death spiral is having a devastating effect on its ratings.

GOP Sen Cruz: ‘I Thought It Was a Very, Very Strong Speech and a Strong Night for the President’

Tuesday on Fox News Channel’s “Hannity” following President Donald Trump’s first State of the Union address, Sen. Ted Cruz (R-TX) gave Trump high marks for the speech.

Cruz applauded Trump for highlighting the various personal stories of his invited guests and called it a “strong night” for Trump.

“The president did an incredible job highlighting the parents of those who have lost their children to MS-13 and violent illegal aliens,” Cruz said. “Highlighting heroes, whether police officers and coastguardsmen or first responders across the country. And the president did a tremendous job overall focusing on jobs, on wages going up, on the historic tax cut.”

“I thought it was a very, very strong speech and a strong night for the president,” he added.

One Month After Returning To Old Time Slot Sean Hannity Gets Earth Shattering News From Middle America

Sean Hannity just got some spectacular news from Middle America. After Fox News went through a few lineup changes they decided to return Sean Hannity to his old time slot.

There were rumors flying around for the reason and most assumed it was to combat the rise in MSNBC’s ratings.

Who struck liberal gold with their Trump bashing and conspiracy theories.

And Sean provided the antidote Middle America needed as the new ratings clearly show.

According to Deadline, Sean’s return has been a triumphant one indeed.

Back at his original 9PM timeslot, Sean Hannity’s show crushed the competition.

He was the most-watched cable news program for the entire month of October with an earth shattering 3.2 million total viewers.

Making this Sean’s second highest month ever. In his career.

Wow. Good job Sean.

To make it even better Sean garnered 686K eyeballs in the 25-54 age bracket advertisers salivate over.

Rachel Maddow also heard from Middle America though she didn’t like what we said.

She fell off a cliff and dropped to third place with 2.5 million views behind even Tucker Carlson who grabbed 2.8 million total viewers.

America is sick and tired of the Trump bashing conspiracies. That get more hysterical with each passing day.

We want the simple truth, or as close as we are going to get from the media, and we have spoken.

Congratulations Sean, you deserve it. Share if you agree and spread the good news far and wide.

Both The Media And Mueller In Full Panic After Sean Hannity Reveals Their Dirty Secret

Sean Hannity is one of the few left on TV that will speak the truth and doesn’t care to call out the BS that is going on right now.

If you haven’t heard by now, Special Counsel Robert Mueller filed the first charges in his investigation into Russia’s alleged interference in the 2016 election. The nature of the charges are sealed and arrests may take place as soon as Monday.

Hannity immediately sprung into action to take down the narrative going on right now and exposes how it is the biggest distraction happening at the moment. Here’s what he said:

Suddenly, Hannity turns the tables right on Mueller and the media and lets us know what’s REALLY going on.

Then he asks the question we’ve all been asking for months.

Hannity is calling out the distraction going on right now and me and many others are praying for his safety. I hope more people will see the truth.
