Do you ever think about major government set-ups?
Do you ever question what’s behind the “media-curtain”?
A settlement, legally speaking, is a non-official way to end a misunderstanding or a conflict. One of the sides arbitrarily agrees to pay a sum of money to the “injured-side”.
But what if the US Department of Justice decides to intervene? Normally, some of that money would go to the government fund, in the form of fines. According to our source, American Conservative Herald, there is somewhere else where a portion of the settlement cash goes, and it’s likely not one you had thought of.
But previous Governor Mike Huckabee has, and he has recently uncovered it during an interview for Fox News.
“The House Judiciary Committee found that when the DOJ takes legal action against banks and businesses for various reasons, the defendants are often eager to settle. The money from those settlements is often divided between affected customers, the government, or it can be donated to what Republicans call a ‘slush fund’ at the DOJ. Under the Obama administration, recipients of the ‘slush fund’ money included La Raza and the National Urban League, two decidedly liberal entities.”
Though Obama and the lefties are desperate to thorough investigate Trump, apparently, Obama is the one that should be investigated“Huckabee said that no matter their ideology, the slush fund violates the Constitution because only Congress can allocate money in that way. ‘Somebody ought to go to jail for this,’ he said, calling the fund ‘a case where liberals have played Robin Hood. They’ve stolen from the government and given it to their pals,’ he said.”
A proposed legislation regarding this issue, is ending the practice – a solution discussed between Virginia Congressman Robert Goodlatte and Sen. James Lankford. But, would that be enough?
How could a mere law to stop someone who is above it?
