MAXINE GETS TAKEN TO SCHOOL ON EXECUTIVE POWERS DURING HEARING

Democratic Rep. Maxine Waters may want to do a little more homework before launching into questions at hearings with the House Committee on Financial Services. She dove right into a line of questions for Consumer Financial Protection Bureau director Mick Mulvaney on Wednesday.

Waters asked him why people should trust him to run the CFPB when he previously sponsored legislation to get rid of that bureau. During those questions, she insisted that it was the responsibility of herself and her colleagues to implement Dodd Frank financial regulations.

“With respect, congresswoman, I would say that I am the one for responsible for implementing Dodd Frank, not you,” Mulvaney retorted. “You were responsible for passing legislation and then the executive branch implements it.”

“I have not burnt the place down,” he continued. “Despite what you may have heard about what I was going to do when I got in there — I think that we have ten fewer people working there now than the day I took over, and that’s out of 1627 people.”

Waters was not amused with his government lesson and in fact cut his answer off.

“I’m reclaiming my time,” Waters declared. “Let me just say to you that you couldn’t implement a thing unless, first of all, there was legislation that was passed to deal with what you’re doing, and second, we have responsibility for the oversight of your implementation.”

Well, sounds like she tried to back out of that line of questioning pretty quickly, doesn’t it? Take a look at this clip and let us know what you think.

Maxine Waters Is Asked What Crime Specifically Trump Has Committed. Her Response Is Both Hilarious And Sad

Image result for Maxine Waters Is Asked What Crime Specifically Trump Has Committed. Her Response Is Both Hilarious And Sad

Loudmouth Rep. Maxine Waters has reinvented herself as the bullhorn of the Democrats’ anti-Trump “resistance.”

Everywhere she goes, Waters can be heard shouting “Impeach 45!”

But, as many have pointed out, impeachment requires some very specific conditions to be met.

Specifically, the president needs to have committed certain actual crimes, and in a certain way.

But the facts and details, the actual laws governing this nation, don’t seem to concern this LAWMAKER.

At a recent rally, Waters insisted:

“Impeachment is about whatever the Congress says it is. There is no law that dictates impeachment. What the Constitution says is ‘high crimes and misdemeanors,’ and we define that.”

In other words, in Waters’ world, Congress can just impeach anyone it pleases, and make up the rules as it goes.

Law Newz explained that while that notion is somewhat accurate, Waters had grossly skewed the reality of how impeachment works:

The framers, as we all know, were hell-bent on making sure that the American president could not become tyrannical; a key facet to their planning was to give Congress the final word on whether the chief executive was carrying out his responsibilities with the requisite dignity befitting the office. Such an concept of impeachment may provide us significant discomfort in that it varies so profoundly from the criminal justice system, but that’s precisely the point. Impeachment is inherently a political process, not a criminal one.  The numbers required for impeachment and conviction ensure that the process isn’t likely to oust a president who is merely unpopular; supermajorities aren’t easy to come by, and are inherent guards against arbitrary or capricious actions.

Trump’s been in office less than a year, and most of what Waters is bringing against him remains in the realm of far-fetched allegation and personal dislike.

“Arbitrary” would be an understatement for Waters’ efforts to impeach Trump.

California Democrat Maxine Waters Charged on 3 Counts. Do You Support This?

The House ethics committee on Monday outlined its charges against Rep. Maxine Waters, who is accused of helping a bank in which her husband owned stock secure federal bailout funds.Image result for California Democrat Maxine Waters Charged on 3 Counts. Do You Support This?..The committee charged the 10-term California Democrat with three counts of violating House rules and the federal ethics code in connection with her effort to arrange a 2008 meeting between Treasury officials and representatives with OneUnited bank.

The panel said Waters, who sits on the Financial Services Committee, broke a House rule requiring members to behave in a way that reflects “creditably” on the chamber. The committee said that by trying to assist OneUnited, she stood to benefit directly, because her husband owned a sizable amount of stock that would have been “worthless” if the bank failed.

The committee also accused Waters of violating the “spirit” of a House rule prohibiting lawmakers from using their positions for financial gain, as well as a government ethics statute banning the dispensing of “special favors.”

Waters has vehemently denied wrongdoing and said she would rather defend herself at an ethics trial than admit to “something I did not do.”

In a motion to dismiss the charges, which the ethics panel has denied, Waters’s attorney, Stanley M. Brand, said the congresswoman had done nothing wrong. Image result for maxine waters“This committee asserts that Rep. Waters improperly used her position to ‘preserve her husband’s investment in OneUnited,’ ” he wrote. “Yet, after its exhaustive investigation, it cannot identify a single active step taken by Rep. Waters in furtherance of that goal.”

The release of the formal charges comes at a bad time for Democrats, as Waters is the second party lawmaker heading to a public trial after the August recess — with time running out before the November midterms. In late July, the House ethics committee charged Rep. Charles Rangel (D-N.Y.) with 13 counts of breaking House rules and federal ethics statutes.

Now, for the third straight week, as House lawmakers return from recess Tuesday to pass a $26 billion state aid package, Democratic leaders must watch their legislative agenda take a backseat to ethics scandals that Republicans already are using against them.

The ethics committee last week released a detailed report, by the Office of Congressional Ethics (OCE), on Waters’s alleged wrongdoing in the OneUnited matter, but it did not outline the formal charges against her until Monday.

The panel’s investigative subcommittee, to buttress its case, released more information Monday about Waters’s involvement with OneUnited and a meeting she helped arrange between the National Bankers Association (NBA), a trade group of minority owned banks of which OneUnited is a member, and Treasury officials. Three of the four attendees NBA invited had ties to OneUnited, according to the OCE report.Image result for California Democrat Maxine Waters Charged on 3 Counts. Do You Support This?..OneUnited asked for $50 million in assistance to cover expected losses from the collapse of the mortgage giants Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac, but Treasury lacked the authority to grant the request, the ethics committee said.According to the 10-page Statement of Alleged Violation, Waters “did not instruct” her chief of staff, Mikael Moore, to stop assisting OneUnited after she told Financial Services Committee Chairman Barney Frank (D-Mass.) she would halt her outreach.

In early September, Frank had warned Waters against getting involved because of her husband’s ties, telling her he would handle all contact on behalf of the bank, according to the report, even before he knew about her husband’s OneUnited stock. It is unclear when Frank learned about his holdings.

But Moore, who is Waters’s grandson, contacted OneUnited executives in late September, sending them publicly available draft legislation of a broad Troubled Asset Relief Program (TARP) bill that would have permitted Treasury to buy certain assets of banks.

OneUnited CEO Kevin Cohee and OneUnited senior counsel Robert Cooper exchanged several e-mails with Moore that September. In one, Cooper wrote: “Thank you for all your hard work!”

In October, the legislation authorizing the TARP contained language intended to apply to OneUnited, according to Frank. The bank eventually applied for TARP funds and received $12 million in December.Image result for California Democrat Maxine Waters Charged on 3 Counts. Do You Support This?..The ethics committee valued Williams’s stock holdings at over $350,000 at the end of 2007, between 4.6 and 15.2 percent of the couple’s net worth, according to Waters’s financial disclosure reports. By the end of September 2008, the stock’s value plummeted more than 50 percent, to $175,000, because of the collapse of Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac.

“If OneUnited failed, [Waters’s] husband’s investment would have been worthless,” the subcommittee wrote.

The panel also reported that Cohee had previously hosted a fundraiser for Waters at his home and that he and his wife contributed to her campaign on “numerous occasions.”

The investigative subcommittee denied two motions filed by Waters: one to provide further clarification of the charges against her and another to dismiss the case.

The fact that her grandson handled the OneUnited matter for her raises even more ethics concerns, watchdogs argue. House rules bar members from hiring for their congressional offices nearly anyone with a family relationship, though not grandchildren.Image result for California Democrat Maxine Waters Charged on 3 Counts. Do You Support This?..“Congress has anti-nepotism rules, which sadly don’t rule out members from hiring their grandchildren,” said Melanie Sloan, executive director of Citizens for Responsibility and Ethics in Washington.

Public Citizen’s Craig Holman said, “The family and the business relationship is just so close — it defies credibility that he would be acting on his own without her knowledge.”

Waters plans a vigorous defense this week. Her attorneys previously have argued that Moore acted without her knowledge and compared her office’s activities to those of Rep. Sam Graves (R-Mo.), whom the committee exonerated last year.

Graves had invited a business partner of his wife’s to testify before a committee. The hearing covered the industry in which the witness and Graves’s wife were investors, and he failed to disclose the relationship at the hearing.

Maxine Waters Caught Defrauding Americans Out Of $1.2 Billion

Elder Patriot – Apparently Maxine Waters didn’t get the memo that there’s a new sheriff in town.

While President Trump is reshaping government so that it once again serves the people rather than the other way around, poverty pimp Maxine Waters has introduced a bill designed to defraud Americans of another $1.2 billion.  But the money isn’t for the impoverished and underserved community she represents.

Judicial Watch provides the details:

Called the Affordable Care Act (ACA) Outreach for the Uninsured, Transformative Recruitment, and Enrollment Action for Compassionate Healthcare (ACA OUTREACH) Act, Waters bill is cosponsored by 36 other lawmakers. If it passes, the Department of Health and Human Services (HHS) would dole out $300 million annually through 2021 for “navigator” grants. Minority and underserved communities would be especially targeted, according to language in the bill’s text.

Translation: a return to the fraud and corruption of the original Obamacare navigator program that served as a conduit for funneling tens of millions of dollars to leftist front groups including ones headed by and serving illegal aliens.

Judicial Watch provided details on some of the recipients of your tax dollars:

  • An Arizona nonprofit called “Campesinos Sin Fronteras” that provides services to farm workers and low-income Hispanics
  • A south Florida legal group that provided navigators in “racially, ethnically, linguistically, culturally and socioeconomically diverse” communities
  • Three Planned Parenthood branches—in Iowa, Montana and New Hampshire—got a combined $655,000 to serve as navigators.
  • An Arab Community Center in Michigan, which got nearly $300,000 to reach out to and engage uninsured community members through “multicultural” media.
  • A Black Chamber of Commerce in South Carolina received north of $230,000 to “provide outreach around new coverage options”
  • A Hispanic aging group in Texas got over $646,000 help members that are “socially isolated due to cultural and linguistic differences.”
  • A labor front group called Restaurant Opportunities Center of New York headed by an illegal immigrant activist named Maria Marroquin. The group received navigator funds shortly after Marroquin, an illegal alien from Peru, had been arrested for participating in disruptive demonstrations protesting the deportation of fellow undocumented immigrants and demanding amnesty.

These navigators were given access to the sensitive personal information of healthcare enrollees including their Social Security numbers, which illegal aliens use for identity theft when seeking to establish residency and land jobs in the U.S.

Navigator funds also went to a nonprofit (Association of Community Organizations for Reform Now (ACORN), with such a huge history of corruption that Congress issued a federal funding ban. As part of a broader investigation into ACORN Judicial Watch obtained records showing that HHS violated the congressional ACORN funding ban by awarding a Louisiana nonprofit called Southern United Neighborhoods (SUN) a $1.3 million Obamacare navigator grant.

Trump had funding for ACA OUTREACH slashed by 90%, which put a severe crimp in Maxine’s cash flow threatening her power base.

Waters is desperate to regain access to that lost money to keep her coalition fed and $1.2 billion spread over four years would make up for it in spades and revitalize these leftist organizations to new levels.

No wonder why she wants Trump impeached.

BREAKING: Maxine Waters Will Deliver “Racist” State Of The Union Address

It’s certainly not a stretch for one to question Rep. Maxine Waters’ mental faculties… especially given the bizarre speeches she’s given over the past year not to mention her body language and movements. But no matter how low or weird this woman continues to get, her announcement today about the state of the union address takes the cake.

Promising to deliver her own version of the annual Presidential address, Waters picked the predominantly African-American cable channel “BET” — a channel that has roughly 15 white viewers. It’s clear that she’s aiming to further her race narrative knowingly catering to an almost all-black audience.

DailyWire reports:

Rep. Maxine Waters won’t be attending the State of the Union — and it follows that she won’t be tuning in, either — but she will give her very own “national address” following President Trump’s annual speech, as part of a post-SOTU analysis on BET.

Buzzfeed reports that the California Democrat, who came unhinged most recently last week when calling for Trump to be impeached over “insults” (an action not generally supported by the United States Constitution), will kick off a new politically focused line-up on BET which includes the new news program, “Angela Rye’s State of the Union.”

According to BET representatives speaking to the online newsmagazine, Waters will focus her speech on “building black politics and the value of engagement across today’s socio-political landscape.”

Waters has, of course, been one of President Trump’s harshest — and perhaps least logical — critics, routinely calling for Trump’s impeachment at such appropriate times as the “Glamour Women of the Year Awards,” and was forced last year to apologize after telling media that she would “take Trump out.” Most recently, Waters suggested that Trump should be impeached (yet again) because he reportedly referred to Haiti as a “sh*t hole” in a meeting on immigration reform.

In fairness to Rep. Waters, the official Democratic State of the Union response may be as irrelevant. Rep. Joseph Kennedy III — the heir to the Kennedy dynasty — will give the rebuttal in an effort to convince Americans that the Democratic Party is one of middle class values and is in touch with the needs of blue collar, working Americans.

SHARE this all over Facebook to remind conservatives exactly what we’re up against in 2018 and 2020.

Army Vet Who Called Out Maxine Waters for Skipping Trump’s SOTU Address Gets a Surprise Invite

The U.S. Army veteran who offered to take Rep. Maxine Waters’ (D-CA) seat at President Donald Trump’s State of the Union address just got a big surprise.

After Waters said last week she would be skipping Trump’s address on Jan. 30 because the president “lies in the face of facts,” Ricky Taylor, who served two tours of duty in Afghanistan, said he’d “gladly” take her place:

Rep. Sean Duffy (R-WI) saw Taylor’s appearance this week on Fox News and decided to give him a ticket to Trump’s State of the Union address. Duffy described attending the event as “a great American experience.”

The Army veteran said Thursday morning he hasn’t heard back from Waters because he — a black Latino veteran — doesn’t fit her “narrative.”

“She wants to portray Donald Trump supporters as middle-aged white men that live in trailers and have Confederate flags sticking out,” he said, “so I just don’t think it fit her narrative and I pretty much knew I wouldn’t get a response from her.”

Kamala Harris Caught in Money Funneling Scheme with Maxine Waters

In the latest news, it looks as if California Democrat, Rep. Maxine Waters, has been exposed as part of a major money funneling scheme that channels money directly into her campaign.  Perhaps most importantly, the scandal could have major implications in the next presidential election.

According to the Washington Free Beacon, nearly $750,000 has been funneled through an endorsement and mailing list operation run by Waters and her daughter, Karen:

“The mailers list the candidates endorsed by Waters and is sent to the more than 200,000 constituents in South Central Los Angeles area, where the congresswoman holds considerable clout. The mailers contain an “official sample ballot” with brief quotes from the congresswoman.”

“The operation is run by Karen Waters, the daughter of Rep. Waters, who has collected more than $650,000 to date for running the endorsement mailers. Karen is owed another $108,000 from her mother’s campaign committee, according to its most recent records. Once Karen is paid, her total payments will reach more than $750,000 since 2006.”

One would think that paying such ludicrous amounts of money for endorsements would be a bit unusual, but that isn’t the case according to California’s Sen. Kamala Harris, who has reportedly paid Waters tens of thousands of dollars to be included on the printed list of endorsements.

“Harris — who has garnered media attention and earned speculation that she is positioning herself to run for president in 2020 following her performance during recent Senate hearings, including that of former FBI Director James Comey — has kicked $63,000 to the campaign of Maxine Waters, the congressional face of the anti-Trump movement, in exchange for placement on the endorsement mailers,” the Free Beacon reported, citing Federal Election Commission records.

Pretty alarming, isn’t it, folks?  Politics can be so sick and twisted at times.  Apparently, the Waters campaign operation, the only one of its kind, has been able to bypass contribution limits that restrict other people, thanks in part to a decade-old legal loophole.  Pretty ironic when you consider most Democrats are against money in politics, huh?

Crazy Maxine Waters Headed To Serve HARD TIME After Doubling Down On Trump Death Wish

In the world of politics, everything you do and say is closely watched and criticized. If you happen to be running for reelection, your challenger will take any little mistake and make a big issue out of it in hopes of securing your job when election time rolls around. In the case of Omar Navarro, who’s challenging Maxine Waters for her seat in Congress, he was just given a beautiful gift by Waters.

You see, Waters was going along, being corrupt and generally feeding off the taxpayers without notoriety until she got her panties in a bunch about President Trump and made it her personal mission to get him impeached. It is her job to do what she thinks is best for the people of this great nation, however, Waters is taking this crusade to a whole new (and illegal) level.

Instead of vowing to just impeach the President, the 70 something, 30 year veteran of Congress took the time in a recent speech to promise that she would “take Trump out tonight”.  Freedom Daily reported on her statements, just hours after she made them, including this video:

As you can see, she’s clearly making substantial threats against the President of the United States, and for some reason feels she can get away with that. Unfortunately for her, someone is gunning for her job, and according to The Epoch Times, he’s looking not only take her seat in Congress but her freedom as well:

“Rep. Maxine Waters (D-Calif.) is under fire for a recent viral video which shows her making threats against President Donald Trump, and one of her political opponents is calling for her arrest over the statements.

In a speech Waters gave at an Oct. 13 event in New York City, she states, “With this kind of inspiration, I will go and take Trump out tonight.”

The video of her speech was initially pulled offline by YouTube, but has since been reposted numerous times and has recently gone viral. On Oct. 22, it garnered the attention of Omar Navarro, a candidate for the congressional seat held by Waters.

“I’m calling for the arrest of Maxine Waters. Let’s get ready for it. #VoteNavarro2018,” he stated on Twitter, adding ‘Secret Service should call for Maxine Waters immediate resignation after these comments. We don’t need lip service.’”

Before you start feeling too badly for the senior citizen public servant, please remember that Navarro is just taking a page from Waters’ playbook. She was rocking along just fine, warming a seat in Congress and propping up the Democrats before she decided to make a name for herself trying to get President Trump removed from office.

Her opponent isn’t the only one that finds these kinds of comments unacceptable. There’s no good ending to a country that lets it’s President be physically threatened by someone who disagrees with him politically. These liberals are acting as if the President is somehow threatening our way of life by enforcing the laws that Congress has already passed.

The chairwoman of the Republican National Committee weighed in on Twitter calling Water’s statements “Unacceptable. Democrat leadership should denounce ANY suggested violence against the President.”

This might be her worst breach of ethics, but it’s certainly not her first. Waters has retained her job in Washington for the past 30 years, and in that time she has done some serious damage to the taxpayer’s pockets and her own reputation. It’s practically the Hill’s worst kept secret that Maxine Waters is as corrupt as the day is long. Here’s more from our source about Waters sorted and sullied reputation in Washington:

“She was named four times by liberal watchdog group Citizens for Responsibility and Ethics in Washington (CREW) in 2005, 2006, 2009, and 2011 as “one of the most corrupt members of Congress.”

An eight-page CREW report lists her numerous cases of misconduct and the investigations into her actions. Among the cases, she allegedly “used her position as a senior member of Congress and member of the House Financial Services Committee to prevail upon Treasury officials to meet with OneUnited Bank,” says CREW.

Judicial Watch, a conservative non-partisan watchdog group, referred to Waters in Dec. 10, 2012, as “A famously corrupt—and seemingly untouchable—congresswoman renowned for abusing her power to enrich family members,” and criticized her rise to become a ranking member of the House Financial Services Committee.

It notes that Waters “helped family members make more than $1 million through business ventures with companies and causes that she has helped,” and was also “investigated by the House Ethics Committee for steering $12 million in federal bailout funds to a failing Massachusetts bank” that she and her husband—a board member—held shares in.

It adds that Waters has also come under fire for “skirting federal elections rules with a shady fundraising gimmick that allows her to receive unlimited amounts of donations from certain contributors,” and for making “hundreds of thousands of dollars in short periods of time by selling her endorsement to other politicians and political causes.”

In a July segment, Tucker Carlson of Fox News noted that Maxine Waters lives in a 6,000 square-foot, $4.3 million mansion in one of the wealthiest neighborhoods in Los Angeles. He questions, “how did she afford a place like that, after having spent the last 40 years working in government? We’d hate to speculate.”

Despite her track record, Waters achieved relative fame among Democrats in the 2016 presidential elections, due to her frequent calls to impeach Trump, and for continually pushing the still-unproven Trump-Russia narrative.

The New York Times noted her unexpected rise to fame on the left in a July 7 article, stating “Through all the tumult, Ms. Waters, once deemed ‘one of the most corrupt members of Congress’ by a liberal watchdog group, has remade herself from Los Angeles ward politician to a darling of the left.”

Maxine Waters Just Threatened To “Dismember” Ben Carson Then Immediately Leads Crowd In Vile Chant

Listening to Congresswoman Maxine Waters going into her predictable and orchestrated performances, one can’t help feeling she’s been tuning into segments of WWE’s “Monday Night Raw,” where the bigger-than-life cartoon-like characters, dressed in spandex, glitter, and gold perform their prearranged antics, bellowing, and threatening mayhem at their opponent.

Moreover rather than using a wrestling ring as a prop, the Democratic lawmaker instead relies on the House floor and allies like CNN and MSNBC to spew her well publicized and scripted “outrage” calling for and then chanting for the “impeachment” of the president.

This time the venue used was a town hall in Gardena, Calif., where Waters doing her best Rick Flair imitation, growled she would “take him apart.”

The “him” Waters was referencing was the Secretary of Housing and Urban Development, Doctor Ben Carson, who has apparently become another selective opponent of the loony leftist from California.

Waters threatening havoc told the crowd in attendance that the next time Carson went before the House Financial Services Committee; she would “take him apart.”

However the drama didn’t stop there, a woman in attendance who apparently also watches segments of “Monday Night Raw” held up a sign reading “Impeach Mad Max” and yelling that Waters had to go, which immediately turned into a free-for-all, with the two sides squaring off at one another while Waters began leading a chant of “Impeach 45.” which last over 4-minutes, and supporters of “MAD MAX” coming to her defense surrounding the helpless woman along with a few of her friends.

Waters who is one of the most ethically challenged lawmakers in congress today, and is currently under yet another investigation is perhaps the most unhinged legislator and the most hostile member of Congress towards the Trump Administration. She has repeatedly used “fake news” reports regarding Russia to undermine the president’s agenda, regardless of the fact that CNN has admitted that the collusion stories are all “bullshit!”

Nevertheless she’s a folk hero to many blissfully ignorant millennial liberals, who call her “Auntie Maxine.”

Perhaps after her career is over we might catch a glimpse of Waters dressed in spandex billing herself as “MAD MAX” performing her selective outrage antics on one of those WWE wrestling cards…one can only hope.

Do you think Maxine Waters is suffering from “Trump Derangement Syndrome”?

Tell us in the comments below if you think she’s gone to far in disrespecting Dr. Ben Carson.
