Washington Times reports: Homeland Security Secretary Kirstjen Nielsen confirmed Tuesday that her department has asked federal prosecutors to see if they can lodge criminal charges against sanctuary cities that refuse to cooperate with federal deportation efforts.
“The Department of Justice is reviewing what avenues may be available,” Ms. Nielsen told the Senate Judiciary Committee.
Her confirmation came after California’s new sanctuary law went into effect Jan. 1, severely restricting cooperation the state or any of its localities could offer. This isn’t the first time calls for arresting leaders of sanctuary cities have been made.
Oh so what’s going on in US sanctuary cities during President Trump actually is supporting the Federal arrests of sanctuary city mayors like Bill De Blasio of NYC and Rahm Emanuel of Chicago.
If the DHS is fully prepared to make Federal arrests of US city leaders that are allowing Sanctuary for illegals, then this could mean in itself an end of Sanctuary for illegal immigrants across the board.
Also with this if the DHS does Federally prosecute leaders of Sanctuary Cities in America, then along with that we could see a massive drop in crime across these cities…
As violent crimes and other crimes are rising across multiple US Sanctuary Cities.
This move by DHS preparing to arrests Sanctuary City leadership really makes you curious if these Sanctuary City mayors are on the list of almost 10,000 sealed indictments?
Dirty F.B.I. Deputy Director Andrew McCabe, who oversaw the destruction of evidence to hide the depth of Hillary Clinton’s email scandal, has been fired.
Calls for McCabe’s firing had been coming from Trump loyalists for some time but the final nail in McCabe’s coffin was the findings of Inspector General Michael Horowitz who came to the conclusion that McCabe’s violations were so egregious that criminal charges should follow.
The Office of Professional Responsibility (OPR) – composed of fellow FBI agents – joined I.G. Horowitz in calling for McCabe’s ouster just hours before he was set to retire.
The OPR usually protects their own so this is a stunning development coming as McCabe was readying himself to start receiving his cushy pension.
Attorney General Jeff Sessions made the announcement only moments ago.His statement began:
“The FBI expects every employee to adhere to the highest standands of honesty, integrity, and accountability. As the OPR proposal stated, “all FBI employees know that lacking candor under oath results in dismissal and that our integrity is our brand.
“Pursuant to Department Order 1202, and based on the report of the Inspector General, the findings of the FBI Office of Professional Responsibility, and the recommendation of the Department’s senior career official, I have terminated the employment of Andrew McCabe effective immediately.”
As shocking as this development is, it will almost assuredly prove to be just the tip of the iceberg and is sending shockwaves through everyone associated with McCabe including the highest levels of the Obama administration.
D’Baha’s niece, Camille Weaver, has created a GoFundMe to help her family with costs related to his funeral and memorial service. On that page, Weaver explains that D’Baha died due to excessive blood loss after being taken to the hospital in critical condition. At the time of writing, there are no other details, including why he was shot or by whom. “We don’t have many details, but will update as soon as we do,” she wrote.
“I can say that our family is beyond appreciative for the outpouring of love and support we’ve received today,” she added. “Moya was a light and he will shine on forever.”
A vigil was held to celebrate his life at North Charleston City Hall, where his friends and family had a chance to speak about about his untimely death.
“We are lost right now,” d’Baha’s sister Kimberli Duncan said. “But we are going to find our way.”
“[Activism] was his passion; he did it from the heart. He was loving, he was funny, he was smart, but it bothered him, the injustice just bothered him, and it never rested well with him,” she added. “He took it on as a personal battle.”
D’Baha’s now famous leap led to jail time for disorderly conduct and damage to personal property. Despite that, many saw his courageous act as a metaphor for fighting back against systemic injustices (and, while we’re at it, it created a pretty symbolic GIF, too).
At the time, D’Baha said he jumped to steal the flag in an attempt to “help [those holding it] understand what it is to meet a real resistance, to meet people that aren’t scared.”
“We’re not going to pass this on another generation,” he added. “Not another generation of people are going to be intimidated by this flag.”
Many, including popular activist Deray McKesson, took to social media to express their grief for the loss of a dedicated activist and ally.
Here is video of the flag snatching incident from 2017.

Cristina Garcia, a Democratic politician from California who was featured by Time Magazine as a #MeToo movement leader, is now accused of sexual harassment herself.
The state assemblywoman is accused of lewd behavior, including groping, of men she worked with. The accusations not only expose a stark example of hypocrisy, it highlights the rarely-discussed problem of female women in power abusing men who work under them.
Ironically, it appears new California legislation that protects those who come forward with sexual misconduct allegations, which Garcia championed, is now being used against her.
Garcia also spoke out about sexual misconduct allegations made against someone, who claimed they were drunk at the time. She said the influence of alcohol was no excuse. Ironically, the allegations against her may have involved her being intoxicated at the time.
California Democratic Assemblywoman Cristina Garcia, the head of the Legislative Women’s Caucus and a leading figure in the state’s anti-sexual harassment movement, is accused of groping a male staffer from another lawmaker’s office.
Daniel Fierro told The Associated Press on Thursday that Garcia stroked his back, squeezed his buttocks and attempted to touch his crotch in a dugout after a legislative softball game in 2014.
Fierro didn’t report it at the time but in January told his former boss, Democratic Assemblyman Ian Calderon, who reported it to Assembly leaders. The Assembly is now investigating Garcia.
Garcia’s spokeswoman Teala Schaff said the assemblywoman learned Jan. 23 a complaint was filed but was given no details and only learned the specifics of the allegations from Politico.
“Every complaint about sexual harassment should be taken seriously and I will participate fully in any investigation that takes place,” the Los Angeles-area lawmaker said in a statement thursday. “I have zero recollection of engaging in inappropriate behavior and such behavior is inconsistent with my values.”
The investigation into Garcia is one of many in statehouses nationwide following a wave of sexual misconduct allegations against men in power since an October expose of movie mogul Harvey Weinstein by the New York Times.
Fierro said he decided to tell Calderon about the incident because of Garcia’s outspokenness in the #MeToo movement, which references the social media campaign used by millions to tell personal experiences with sexual harassment.
“If the person leading the charge on it isn’t credible it just ends up hurting the credibility of these very real stories,” Fierro told the AP.
Fierro, who was 25 at the time, said he was interviewed by an outside law firm hired by the Assembly Rules Committee last Friday. Politico also reported that a lobbyist who declined to be named claimed Garcia made crude sexual comments and tried to grab his crotch at a 2017 fundraiser.
Garcia was elected in 2012 and has carved out a name as a champion of women’s issues and environmental health for poor communities and chairs the Women’s Caucus.
Democratic Sen. Connie Leyva, co-chair of the women’s caucus, said she was “shocked and disturbed” at the allegations and she will ask the group to meet soon to discuss Garcia’s fate as leader.
Garcia’s photo was featured in Time Magazine’s Person of the Year issue on being one of the “Silence Breakers” on sexual harassment.
“I refuse to work with (Assemblyman Raul Bocanegra) and anyone who takes part in harassment or assault,” she tweeted in October after it was reported Bocanegra had been disciplined in 2009 for groping a colleague. Bocanegra later resigned after more women made public accusations.
Garcia was a fierce advocate for legislation signed by Gov. Jerry Brown on Monday giving legislative staff members whistleblower protections for reporting sexual misconduct or other misbehavior, speaking at a rally on the Capitol steps after its passage. She’s tweeted repeatedly about the importance of sexual consent in recent days.
Fierro and the lobbyist said it appeared Garcia was inebriated at the time of the encounters.
In a November interview with AP about alcohol-fueled fundraisers and other after-work events that are a part of regular business in Sacramento, Garcia said blaming alcohol isn’t an acceptable excuse for sexually inappropriate behavior. It’s men who chose to misbehave, not the social events themselves, that create the problems, she said.
“I would say that most of the public realizes that our job is based on relationships, and so we are expected to go out there and socialize,” she said. “I think our public also expects us to hold ourselves to a higher standard.”

And once again the bleeding heart liberals in the Main Stream Media have gotten their panties in a bunch over something the Trump administration did. This time they were whining about something that happened between U.S. Vice President Mike Pence and the North Korean delegation at the Winter Olympics in Pyeongchang, South Korea.
In what was a precise and calculated move by VP Pence he decided not to shake hands with this North Korean murderous regime. And by not doing so he sent a powerful message to the world that the Trump administration is not going to put up with egomaniacal bullies who threaten our nation, torture their own people and who’s leader murders his own family members if he feels they looked at him in the wrong way.
So in spite of all the liberal whining and moaning while they call out VP Pence as being rude and unrefined, he did the correct thing by not acknowledging a nation which is keeping the world on the verge of what can is considered to be a dire nuclear threat against the west coast of the US, Japan, South Korea and Hawai. And every American should be proud knowing we don’t bow to our enemies anymore.
Now let’s keep in mind who these offended liberals are. They are the same characters who had no issue whatsoever with all the sexual adulterous shenanigans that went on in the white house during the Kennedy and Clinton administrations. And now all of a sudden they care about manners when it pertains to a murdering regime which goes against every value America, and the American people hold close and dear. Yup, sounds about right, isn’t that what Liberals always do every single time? Provide aid and comfort to America’s enemy?
Via The AP:
PYEONGCHANG, South Korea — For all of Vice President Mike Pence’s efforts to keep North Korea from stealing the show at the Winter Olympics, the images of the two Koreas marching together — and their officials shaking hands — at a time of heightened tensions on the peninsula proved impossible to counteract.
Pence spent the days leading up to Friday’s opening ceremonies warning that the North was trying to “hijack the message and imagery of the Olympic Games” with its “propaganda.”
But the North was still welcomed with open arms to what South Korean President Moon Jae-in called “Olympic games of peace” and the U.S. appeared to be the one left out in the cold.
Pence sat stone-faced in his seat as Moon and North Koreans officials stood together with much of the stadium to applaud their joint team of athletes. White House officials stressed that Pence had applauded only for the American team, but Asia experts said the vice president’s refusal to stand could be seen as disrespectful to the hosts.
U.S. officials have been urging South Korea to be cautious in its rapprochement with the North — a point Pence drilled home in private meetings with Moon on Thursday.
But North Korea’s terrible record on human rights and the growing threat from its nuclear weapons program appeared out of mind as Moon warmly greeted Kim Yo Jong, the sister of dictator Kim Jong Un, and Kim Yong Nam, the country’s 90-year-old nominal head of state.
Even Japanese Prime Minister Shinzo Abe, who has shared the American skepticism of warming inter-Korean relations, greeted Kim Yong Nam.
At an earlier VIP reception for delegation leaders, Pence arrived late and stayed for just 5 minutes — and did not interact with the delegation from the North.
“The Koreans will think it’s a mood kill,” said Frank Jannuzi, an expert on East Asia at the Mansfield Foundation in Washington. He criticized the Trump administration for straining too hard to signal disgust of Kim Jong Un’s government.
“The grievances that the world has about North Korea are very legitimate. But the Olympic moment that President Moon is trying to generate here is not a time to nurse those grievances,” Jannuzi said. “It’s a time to focus on messages of reconciliation and peace.”
As it turned out, with the two Koreas celebrating a moment of unity, the United States was left outmaneuvered by an adversary and out of step with an ally.
Past administrations have been wary of efforts by Pyongyang to drive a wedge between Washington and Seoul, but still generally supportive of efforts to calm tensions at the heavily militarized border.
Today, Kim Yo Jong and other North Korean delegates will have lunch with Moon at the presidential Blue House. Rumors are swirling that she could be carrying an offer for Moon to travel to North Korea. The last inter-Korean summit was in 2007.
That may turn out to be errant speculation, but the U.S. doesn’t appear to share global relief that there’s a glimmer of hope for diplomacy after a year of escalating tensions and fears of nuclear war, fueled by insults slung between President Donald Trump and Kim Jong Un.
Although South Korea has been a trenchant supporter of Trump’s campaign of “maximum pressure” against North Korea, Moon has been keen to use the Olympics to pry open the door to better relations with its adversary. North Korea has jumped at the opportunity.
The downside for Washington is that it could expose growing differences with Seoul on the best way to deal with North Korea and achieve the ultimate goal of denuclearization.
American officials attempted to paint a rosier picture of Friday’s ceremony as showing solidarity among allies. They stressed the North Koreans in the VIP box had watched Pence, Moon and Abe hold a running discussion in the front row for the more than two-hour ceremonies.
The officials, who spoke on condition because they were not authorized to discuss the U.S. approach publicly, also denied that Pence had been blindsided by the seating arrangement — with the North Koreans in the row behind him, allowing Kim Yo Jong to be easily pictured in profile next to the vice president.
Although some White House aides were leery that the arrangement could produce less-than-ideal optics for Pence, there was no concerted effort to lobby their Korean counterparts for a change, in part out of fear of upsetting the Olympic hosts, said one administration official.
“It’s not a complete disaster,” said James Schoff, former senior Pentagon adviser for East Asia policy. He supported Pence’s moves to meet with North Korean defectors, paying respects at a memorial to 46 South Korean sailors killed in a 2010 torpedo attack blamed on the North. Pence also invited as his Olympics guest the father of U.S. college student Otto Warmbier, who died after he was imprisoned by North Korea for stealing a propaganda poster.
But Schoff said that by pouring cold water on hopes for better inter-Korean relations, Pence’s stance could be viewed as critical of Moon’s outreach to North Korea.
“The fact that’s become the narrative is due in part to things that he’s said and his body language,” Schoff said.
While Moon did not hesitate to shake hands and smile with his North Korean visitors, Pence didn’t appear to even look in the direction of the North Korean delegation during the Friday event.
A prominent Muslim Leader has declared this today “I Swear All The Muslim Will Leave U.S If Trump Ban Sharia Law”.
Did Trump really banned Sharia Law in the United States?
Actually, In contrast to what most websites publish Trump confirmed that the ban would not apply to Muslim citizens of the U.S. seeking to re-enter the country after traveling abroad.
The only thing is that President Trump’s executive order, issued on 28 January 2017, barred entry into the U.S. of nationals from Iran, Iraq, Libya, Somalia, Sudan, Syria, and Yemen for 90 days. On 3 February 2017, U.S. District Judge James Robart suspended the ban on a nationwide basis. A day later, the 9th U.S. Circuit Court of Appeals denied the Trump administration’s request to stay Robart’s ruling.

Nancy Worley, Head Of Alabama Democratic Party, Indicted On 10 Felony And Misdemeanor Charges.
Here’s a little story from earlier this month that the mainstream media completely skipped over: Nancy Worley, former secretary of state and the current chairwoman of the Alabama Democratic Party, turned herself in at the Montgomery County Jail following indictment by a grand jury on felony and misdemeanor charges related to her unsuccessful 2006 re-election campaign.
According to the indictment, Worley broke the law when she wrote a letter to her employees with the underlined words, “I want to ask for your support and your vote in the June 2006 Democratic Primary Election.” She followed up the solicitation by saying, “If you choose to support another candidate you have every right to make that decision without any problems from me.”
However, as stated in Alabama election law, it is “unlawful for any officer or employee to solicit any type political campaign contributions from other employees who work for said officer or employee in a subordinate capacity.” Worley’s attorney claims that her latter statement indicates that her employees were not pressured into contributing – but Worley’s employees see it differently.
According to Ed Packer, one of Worley’s many disgruntled former employees, “Aside from it being illegal it just seems wrong for an elected official to request money or other kinds of campaign support from their subordinates because of that employer – employee relationship that could be coercive just by its very nature.” Packer also said that Worley sent her employees bumper stickers and a mailer to volunteer or request a yard sign.
Worley was released on bond after turning herself in. She faces five misdemeanor and five felony charges – and she hasn’t wasted any time blaming Republicans for her own criminality. “This is happening to Democrats throughout the country who don’t bow down to Republicans,” she said.
This is far from the first time Worley has faced criticism. Her four years in office were plagued by complaints about everything from her selection of a gas guzzling SUV that the state paid for to low morale among her employees.
Yet, in October 2017, Worley hypocritically proclaimed that Alabamians should vote Democrat because several Republicans had been ousted from office due to misconduct.
But the truth always comes out, doesn’t it?

Democrats love their activism. However, it isn’t 1965 anymore and the days where protesting really makes a substantial difference are long gone. But that doesn’t stop people from continuing to protest. And while many of the Black Lives Matter, Antifa, and others rallies and protests are disgusting in their nature this latest protest in New York City will make your skin crawl because of the callousness of it all.
This past Thursday a Democratic New York City Councilmen named Jumanne Williams and Ydannis Rodriguez were both arrested and handcuffed after protesting. But it wasn’t just their protesting that was the issue. They were purposefully blocking an ambulance with a person inside who needed to be transported to the local hospital immediately.
Both of the councilmen were protesting the White House administration, the President, and ICE over a supposed illegal alien activist who was allegedly being held for deportation at the airport. A cop had them face down on the hood of two cars while both of them were chanting, “Freedom. Resist. Freedom. Resist. We are going to resist.”
“The 39-second clip also shows cops grappling with several protesters sitting on the street. A photo posted on Rodriguez’ Twitter account shows him being restrained by at least two cops, one of whom has both arms wrapped around the back of pol’s head and neck. “This is NOT how you treat people who are protesting for Human Rights. This is NOT what democracy looks like. We can’t call ourselves progressives and pro-immigrants when the @NYPDnews is doing chokehold to us. Injusticia!” the caption says.
A female protester also claimed she was roughed up by cops. “They were picking me up and throwing me because I’m small enough that they could,” freelance journalist Indigo Olivier, 22, of Brooklyn, told The Post. “They kept going for my breasts. They were really aggressively pushing and I kept saying, ‘Those are my breasts.’” Around 300 people took part in the protest. The NYPD said 10 men and eight women were taken into custody, but didn’t immediately respond to a request for comment on the claims regarding its officers’ conduct.
Mayor de Blasio has “been briefed on the protest and police activity along Broadway in Lower Manhattan,” a spokesman said on Twitter. “The area is covered extensively by cameras and we’ll be reviewing the footage to get to the bottom of what happened,” spokesman Eric Phillips added. Officials will scrutinize the actions of both cops and protesters, City Hall sources said. An NYPD union leader called on de Blasio ” to start an investigation on these council members that actively went in front of an ambulance with its emergency lights on taking a patient to the hospital.” “They have a right to protest. It’s the American way, I get it,” said Lou Turco, president of the Lieutenants Benevolent Association.
“But they cannot block an ambulance going to the hospital. And these are council members who are dictating policy for the city of New York.” Ragbir, executive director of the New Sanctuary Coalition of New York City, was detained by Immigration and Customs Enforcement officials during a “routine check-in” at 26 Federal Plaza, according to a statement issued by the group. He was put in the ambulance after fainting, Maguire said.
All those arrested were taken to the 7th Precinct headquarters, where the Rev. Raymond Blanchette emerged and told fellow activists that Williams was going to be released with a desk appearance ticket. But Rodriguez is being booked on charges of disorderly conduct, resisting arrest and obstruction of government administration, and will be held pending arraignment, Blanchette said.
An immigrant from Trinidad, Ragbir was ordered deported in 2006 following his conviction for wire fraud and conspiracy, but has remained in the US by challenging that ruling. Lawyers with the Immigrant Rights Clinic of Washington Square Legal Services filed a suit on his behalf Thursday against US Attorney Jeff Sessions and other government officials, claiming Ragbir has a “stay of removal” that’s valid through Jan. 19.
“A longtime New Yorker, a husband and a father, Ravi is beloved by all of us who have had the privilege of working with him to make New York a welcoming community for all of its residents,” said the Rev. Kaji Dousa, co chair of the New Sanctuary Coalition. “The fact that ICE has taken him as if his spirit, family ties, and contributions to the community mean nothing is inhumane.” “ICE didn’t immediately respond to a request for comment.”
This is the face of the modern Democratic Party. They preach tolerance and acceptance, love and hope. Yet they go out and they physically and verbally assassinate anyone and everyone who disagrees with them and gets in their way. It is very hypocritical behavior and the height of irony itself.
How can one promote tolerance, love, and open mindedness, and point to the Republican Party as callus yet sit their and block an ambulance carrying someone in critical need of hospital services? Perhaps for some the ends justify the means. But in reality they have become the very thing they hate, despise, and preach against in this political atmosphere.
Despite what some people think about President Trump, the truth is he is doing things his way and most of the times it works out in his favor.
Even though he constantly mocked China during his presidential campaign 2016 and hasn’t been friendlier to the country since entering the White House, President Trump just became the first foreign leader to have dinner in the Forbidden City, a celebrated royal district which is closed off to the resto of the world since the founding of the People’s Republic of China.
One historian during a CNN appearance talked about the unusual invitation for Trump and First Lady Melania, who arrived in Beijing on Wednesday, saying it was a power move by the Chinese government.
“The Chinese government know who they’re dealing with,” Jeremiah Jenne, who lives in Beijing, stated. “It’s another in a long line of fairly shrewd moves by the Chinese government and something [Trump is] going to be very impressed with.”
“What was once known as the ‘palace of blood and tears’ is now being used for a state visit. This is an example of how the narrative [within China] has shifted, particularly in the last 25 years, it’s no longer about emphasizing class revolution. In recent years, it’s been much greater emphasis on the glories of Chinese civilization.”
They are supposed to tour the Forbidden City along with Chinese President Xi Jinping and his wife, Peng Liyuan, before having a dinner in the place that once accommodated Chinese emperors and their families for some 500 years.
A professor of government and politics at George Mason University, Ming Wan, stated for CNN the Chinese government will “give Trump an exceptional reception, essentially they’ll try to make Trump happy — that will work to China’s advantage.”
“[Xi’s] going to treat Trump almost like an emperor,” he added.
Trump’s unique visit to the ancient territory comes right after the White House condemned communism with a statement honoring the National Day for the Victims of Communism.
Communism has “systematically robbed innocent people of their God-given rights of free worship, freedom of association, and countless other rights we hold sacrosanct,” one part of the statement read.
