Homeland Security Secretary Kirstjen Nielsen on Monday warned the “caravan” of Central American migrants arriving at the southern U.S. border that they could face prosecution, detention and deportation, as President Trump called on the agency to block the group.

The announcement came as a group of about 50 migrants who left southern Mexico in March reportedly reached the U.S. border, planning to seek asylum.

“DHS continues to monitor the remnants of the ‘caravan’ of individuals headed to our Southern border with the apparent intention of entering the United States illegally,” Nielsen said in a statement. “A sovereign nation that cannot—or worse, chooses not—to defend its borders will soon cease to be a sovereign nation. The Trump administration is committed to enforcing our immigration laws – whether persons are part of this ‘caravan’ or not.”

Nielsen outlined immigration law in her statement, warning those attempting to enter illegally.

“If members of the ‘caravan’ enter the country illegally, they will be referred for prosecution for illegal entry in accordance with existing law,” Nielsen said. “For those seeking asylum, all individuals may be detained while their claims are adjudicated efficiently and expeditiously, and those found not to have a claim will be promptly removed from the United States.”

DHS and the Justice Department have developed a “partnership” to “ensure that all cases and claims are adjudicated properly.” Nielsen said that included sending U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services asylum officers, Immigration and Customs Enforcement attorneys, and Justice Department immigration judges and prosecutors to the U.S.-Mexico border.

“If you enter the United States illegally, let me be clear: you have broken the law. And we will enforce the law through prosecution of illegal border crossers,” Nielsen said.

Earlier Monday, Trump tweeted that he had “instructed” Nielsen not to allow “large caravans of people” into the U.S., calling the situation a “disgrace.”

“Despite the Democrat inspired laws on Sanctuary Cities and the Border being so bad and one sided, I have instructed the Secretary of Homeland Security not to let these large Caravans of people into our Country. It is a disgrace. We are the only Country in the World so naïve! WALL,” Trump tweeted early Monday.

The “caravan” left the Guatemala-Mexico border in late March and grew to more than 1,000 migrants. More migrants will reportedly be arriving at the U.S. border in the coming days. Last week, Mexico’s National Immigration Institute said its agents found hundreds of migrants packed into trucks in the Gulf Coast state of Veracruz, in the north-central state of Hidalgo, and in central Mexico.

The caravan peaked at around 1,500 people, but has mostly shrunk under pressure from Mexican migration authorities who vowed to separate the migrants with a right to stay in Mexico from those who did not, and Trump’s call for the National Guard to help secure the border.

“Mexico, whose laws on immigration are very tough, must stop people from going through Mexico and into the U.S. We may make this a condition of the new NAFTA Agreement. Our Country cannot accept what is happening! Also, we must get Wall funding fast,” Trump tweeted Monday.

“Let today’s message be clear: our nation has the most generous immigration system in the world, but this is a deliberate attempt to undermine our laws and overwhelm our system. There is no right to demand entry without justification. Smugglers and traffickers and those who lie or commit fraud will be prosecuted to the fullest extent of the law,” Attorney General Jeff Sessions responded.

“Promoting and enforcing the rule of law is essential to protecting a nation, its borders, and its citizens. But, as President Trump has warned, the need to fix these loopholes and weaknesses in our immigration system is critical and overdue.”

The Trump administration has been in negotiations with Mexico and Canada over the North American Free Trade Agreement (NAFTA) for months, efforting renegotiation for the agreement that the president has said has killed jobs in the U.S.

As for his central campaign promise to build a wall along the U.S.-Mexico border, Trump has received $1.6 billion as part of the omnibus spending package signed last month, for technology and some replacement of existing border fencing. But the wall, in total, is estimated to cost approximately $20-25 billion.

Nielsen on Monday also asked that congressional leadership “work with the administration to pass legislation to close legal loopholes that prevent us from securing our borders and protecting Americans.”

Deportation Poll Reveals The Civil War Inside Sanctuary California Is Intensifying

Image result for Deportation Poll Reveals The Civil War Inside Sanctuary California Is Intensifying

If you live outside of California, you’re probably shocked to see what’s going on there.

Their democratic majority is pushing all kinds of toxic laws. They are fighting the federal government by protecting criminal aliens. Billions of dollars are wasted on needless programs. Meanwhile, the state’s infrastructure crumbles.

Gov. Jerry Brown shocked the nation when his sanctuary law went into effect. The entire state of California is banned from helping federal immigration authorities.

Tell me that’s not unconstitutional. Police are not allowed to cooperate with ICE. Criminal aliens they arrest are released back into the state. Free to commit more crime.

But it looks like not everyone in the Golden State shares Brown’s views. Numerous cities have voted to reject his sanctuary law. Now, a new poll proves that many citizens are sick of Brown’s policies. In fact, they are supporting the President.

From Daily Democrat:

About half of Californians say they support President Trump’s Muslim travel ban and more deportations of undocumented immigrants, according to a new poll that challenges the conventional belief that residents of the left-leaning Golden State are overwhelmingly allergic to the administration’s hard line on immigration…

About 24 percent of the survey’s participants said it’s “very important” for the U.S. to increase deportations of undocumented immigrants, while 35 percent said it’s “somewhat important,” according to the poll. That viewpoint even held true in the Bay Area, where 25 percent of those surveyed said increasing deportations is very important and 35 percent said it’s somewhat important.

And about 49 percent of Californians support temporarily banning people from Muslim-majority countries, according to the poll. In the Bay Area, 44 percent of residents support the ban, the least out of any region in California.

It’s worth noting that the numbers are so high in the Bay Area. San Francisco is ground zero for all kinds of empty-headed, hippie nonsense. From there it spreads to infect the rest of the state. The fact that so many thereare on board with Trump’s plans tells you something. Not everyone in California wants the Democrats’ toxic version of America.

Real people see the effects of illegal immigration. Crime is on the rise. Homelessness is an epidemic in places like San Francisco and Los Angeles. Businesses and homes are impacted by the increase in illegal immigration. Why would citizens sit by and let this happen to their communities?

Democrats have protected illegal immigration by calling conservatives racist. They want you to believe that enforcing our laws is somehow discrimination. That’s nonsense. Protecting Americans comes first. That includes Americans of all races. Everyone is welcome to come here, so long as they do it legally.

More Californians are realizing the left’s tired rhetoric is destructive. They are rejecting Brown’s terrible agenda. Hopefully that will result in some real changes in the state.

NO FEAR: Trump Admin Finds And Deports Famous Illegal Immigrants

President Trump’s enforcement of deporting illegal aliens is so refreshing, especially after 8 years of Obama letting them in by the millions and worse — letting them stay. A lot of those illegals felt an extra sense of security having lived through Obama’s generous sanctuary policy, but have recently had a hard slap in the face by today’s reality.

Bottom line? Illegal immigrants aren’t welcome here in America. If we catch you, we’ll deport you… even if you’re relatively famous.

Conservative Tribune reported:

Two high-profile illegal immigrants who attained a degree of fame through their activism have been detained and/or deported by the Trump administration after receiving repeated stays in the past, The Daily Caller has reported.

Ravidath Ragbir and Jean Montrevil, both prominent figures within the pro-illegal immigration group New Sanctuary Coalition of New York City, were detained and deported by Immigration and Customs Enforcement after years of being allowed to stay in the country at the discretion of federal officials — in spite of the fact that both had been convicted of serious crimes.

According to the New York Daily News, Ragbir was detained by ICE on Jan. 11 and informed that that his reprieve from deportation would not be extended further.

Ragbir, executive director of New Sanctuary, was checking in at the ICE office in New York City when he was detained. While Ragbir had immigrated to the United States legally back in 1991 from Trinidad and Tobago, he was convicted of wire fraud in 2000, according to The New York Times.

Ragbir received a deportation order in 2006, but in 2011 ICE officials in New York City gave him a reprieve of deportation. That reprieve was extended last April, but ICE officials informed Ragbir that reprieve would not be extended further. A judge will now decide his fate.

One week later, Haitian national Jean Montrevil — a co-founder of New Sanctuary — was deported after being taken into custody in early January. Montrevil, who had entered the United States in 1986, had served time on a drug possession charge and was in the process of appealing a deportation order.

According to The Intercept, Montrevil’s lawyer said his client “believed that he had reached an understanding with ICE officials.”

The general consensus among members of the activist community was that these arrests were targeted acts.

“It seems really clear to us that this is an escalation of retaliation, not just against individual rights leaders, but against the right of the movement to exist,” Mary Small, policy director for immigrant rights activist group Detention Watch Network, told The New York Times.

While it was perhaps a sign that ICE feels emboldened to go after activists as well as everyday illegal immigrants and those with deportation orders, this hardly seems to be “retaliation” or “escalation.” If it is, it is only in the sense that the government has refused to enforce deportation orders, which — at least to some activists — ought to be totally meaningless.

As for the idea that this is “targeting” — well, Al Capone and Meyer Lansky got “targeted” with tax evasion charges. That doesn’t make it wrong at all. And was this “targeting” uncalled for? Not by any means.

Montrevil and Ragbir didn’t control criminal empires like Capone and Lansky, but they provided activist support for millions of individuals who are in this country illegally.

This isn’t agenda-driven policing. It isn’t using the power of law enforcement to silence critics of the administration who’ve done nothing wrong. Mr. Montrevil and Mr. Ragbir made themselves targets. Not only did they violate the law, they brought attention upon themselves for doing so. They tried to invite sympathy upon themselves, essentially, for being convicts who had to face the consequences of those convictions.

Montrevil served five years in prison and was sentenced to 11 (indicative of a case of drug possession that was far more serious than just getting caught with a bag of cocaine, no matter how activists wish to spin it). In fact, he was set to be deported under the Obama administration in 2010, but a fellow detainee with a fever delayed his removal, and then an earthquake in the intervening days made it impossible, according to The New York Times.

Meanwhile, Ragbir spent time in prison on a $400,000 embezzlement scheme and has obtained several stays of deportation since, seemingly hiding behind his quasi-celebrity in the “Democracy Now!”-viewership community. Indeed, Ragbir’s wife Amy Gottlieb wrote a piece for The New York Times published Thursday that was all-too-subtly titled “ICE Detained My Husband for Being an Activist.”

Ms. Gottlieb waits until the fourth paragraph to mention the small detail that her husband was being deported because he committed a crime. She mentions that it occurred 18 years ago as if it were a point in his favor, gliding over the fact that Ragbir has obtained numerous stays from federal officials.

These are the crimes they have committed thata have more or less been affirmed by the courts. But these illegal immigrants not only claim it’s their right to stay in the country after committing a crime, they claim it’s more or less every immigrant’s right to stay in the country after they’ve committed a crime. They made themselves some of the biggest names in the immigration debate — and when it comes to crime, the government is known to go after the biggest names.

On a personal level, with all due sympathy to Mr. Montrevil and Mr. Ragbir and the disruption this may cause to their respective families, they are the authors of this mess. Montrevil and Ragbir aren’t just innocent characters caught up in a web of nationalist intrigue, no matter how the press wants to frame it.

Both committed and were convicted of crimes, something they knew or ought to have known would likely end in their expulsion from this country. Any pain and anguish caused to their families and those around them is due to them and them alone. Hiding behind the cloak of “activism” cannot and should not erase this.

Muslim Imam Claims He Has A Right To Preach ‘Kill Infidels’, Doesn’t Count On Conservative Judge

When you’re taking up residence in a new country, it’s a fabulous idea to do your best to integrate yourself into your new surroundings.

By doing so, there’s a good chance you’ll be welcomed with open arms by the surrounding community.

If you insist on not integrating yourself and attempt to cause as much carnage as possible? Not so much.

That pickle of a situation pops up all the time when those with extremist views feel the need to spout off their nonsense and get the world around them to change to the way they see things.

These out of touch folks get quite frustrated when things don’t go their way, and there’s no telling what they’ll do when push comes to shove.

In a perfect world, a reality check will be provided before they inflict some serious damage.

That’s what happened with this Muslim Imam, and he’s going to have some extra time to place things in perspective as a result.

Swiss Info shares the details.

A district court in canton Zurich has given a Muslim preacher, accused of promoting violence, an 18-month suspended prison sentence. It also ordered the 25-year-old Ethiopian to be deported and banned from re-entering Switzerland for 15 years.

The preacher was on trial for calling for the burning of Muslims who are not devout enough in their worship.

As the preacher sees things, everyone must see things the way that he does. Those that do not need to be dealt with swiftly.

Thankfully, he slipped up before causing even more problems – and he’s now paying the price.

Police arrested the cleric in October of last year, after receiving reports of the controversial sermon delivered at the An’Nur mosque in Winterthur, in north-eastern Switzerland.

A policeman and police van in front of the mosque

The man is also charged with distributing pictures of executions online and of violating labour regulations by working without a permit.

“His religious views represent a danger to the public,” the prosecution told the court. But the defendent’s lawyer painted a different picture, saying: “He was merely an unsuspecting asylum seeker who had only been in Switzerland for three months. He is no fanatical Muslim.”

Open border advocates seem incapable of grasping the fact that welcoming dangerous people into our midst without having any idea about who they are is somehow a good thing.

The absurdity of that line of thinking has been exposed a countless number of times, but that’s not stopping them from beating the drum.

That leads to a simple question: Why?

It’s unclear how much more evidence they need that lax immigration policies lead to some serious problems.

We’ll hold out hope that they’ll wake up and smell the coffee before it’s too late, but we’re not all that optimistic about that actually happening.

Liberals Protest Deportation Of ‘Poor’ Illegal Immigrant, Then 4 Accusers Come Forward With His Sick Secrets

The standard lib sob story is this: illegal immigrants are being hunted down like helpless prey before the predatory actions of Trump’s ICE agents, who separate families without compassion and deport innocents without remorse.

It’s a good story. But it’s missing some details…like the serious and sick, hardened criminals that ICE deports. Especially those that libs don’t like to talk about.

Fact is, when it comes to serious and nauseating crimes, liberals have the most explaining to do. Consider the crimes – rape? You’ve got Bill Clinton, and his associated crimes. Child molestation? You’ve got Jeffrey Epstein, and his associated Clinton friends, and crimes.

Child molestation? You’ve got Victor Garcia-Fuentes, and his associated crimes.

Oh wait, did I already mention child molestation? My apologies. Soon-to-be deported Victor Garcia-Fuentes is facing child-molestation charges.

I guess he’d get along with the Clintons.

WOWT Nebraska reports:

An illegal immigrant set to be deported has now been accused of sexually assaulting Metro children. He’s also accused of trying to intimidate his alleged victims from behind bars.

Victor Garcia-Fuentes is already in custody, [and] now faces 4 counts of child sexual assault.

There’s always a line of detail that probably shouldn’t be crossed when describing sexual crimes. So I’ll just get close to it – there’s evidence that Victor Garcia-Fuentes is a rapist who should never be released.

Take that for what it’s worth. And understand he should be locked up forever.

If you doubt me, consider these facts: Victor, while imprisoned, was trying to intimidate the families of his victims.

Omaha Police say they have phone recordings from inside the jail where Garcia-Fuentes spoke to an unknown man and woman and asked for their help to contact the victims’ family. The woman on the phone warned Garcia-Fuentes they were being recorded, so [he] said he would send them a letter.

“There’s always concerns with victims, [and] the victims’ families, that somebody might try to intimidate witnesses to try to not have them testify.”

So, then…let’s be clear. An illegal immigrant child-rapist is trying to scare the families of his victims into not testifying to his crimes in court. And we’re watching this process unfold, and doing nothing.

Does anyone doubt that we should be deporting this evil bastard?
