French president had outlined plan to flood Europe with hundreds of millions of African migrants
The Washington Free Beacon
French President Emmanuel Macron quipped he’s trying to make France “great again” in response to criticism he’s governed as an authoritarian, a nod to the famous “Make America Great Campaign” slogan of President Donald Trump.
Macron is making an official state visit to the United States beginning Monday to celebrate nearly 250 years of U.S.-French relations.
“Fox News Sunday” host Chris Wallace noted some in the French press have compared Macron to Napoleon and King Louis XIV since he took office in 2017.
Although the 40-year-old Macron is viewed as a progressive stalwart abroad, the Washington Post reports he’s seen as a “liberal strongman” in his own country.
Instead of punishing users making death threats, the tech giant Facebook suspended Terrence K. Williams’s account. The black comedian and commentator spoke out.
“Facebook is coo-coo for cocoa puffs,” he said, telling Fox News’ Jesse Watters he thinks race may have something to do with Facebook’s actions.
According to Watters, Williams “started getting death threats on Facebook so Terrence posted the death threats, but Facebook didn’t punish the people making the death threats — they suspended his account. Is it because he’s a conservative?”

INDIA has introduced the death penalty for rapists and paedophiles after a post-mortem on a 11-year-old schoolgirl that had been raped, tortured, strangled and smothered shocked the country.
By CARLY READ
Prime Minister Narendra Modi approved the bill at an emergency meeting after a little girl from his hometown of Gujarat was brutally attacked sending shockwaves across the country riddled with 40,000 rape cases a year – 40 per cent of which are children.
The order amends the criminal law to include more drastic punishment for convicted rapists of girls under 16 and will come into effect once signed by India’s president Ram Nath Kovind.
The bill follows news of a rape epidemic across India, where every day newspapers carry fresh stories of sexual violence against women.
Mr Modi had been accused of sympathising with men accused of raping an eight-year-old Muslim girl in a Hindu-dominated area of Jammu and Kashmir after his Bharatiya Janata Party appeared to offer them support prompting national outcry and accusations not enough was being done to protect women.
This sparked protests, which grew in size after the arrest of a lawmaker from his party last week in connection with the rape of a teenager in Uttar Pradesh, a state governed by the party.
With the general election due next year, Mr Modi remedied the bout of public anger by holding the emergency cabinet meeting as soon as he returned on Saturday morning from an official visit to Europe.
The meeting also prescribed measures for stronger punishment and faster trials in cases.
In cases where a girl under 16 is raped, the cabinet doubled the punishment from 10 to 20 years.
For women, the penalty hiked from seven to 10 years.
The document made no mention of the rape of boys or men.
The cabinet also recommended mandatory completion of rape investigations within two months and advised that trials should also be completed in two months.
The document read: “Government has taken serious note of incidents of rape in various parts of the country.
First Lady Melania Trump is facing her biggest challenge yet as she hosts her first official White House state dinner. Like all things done by the Trump White House, Melania is doing things her way and has spent months in preparation for this main event. On hand will be France’s President Emmanuel Macron and his wife, and as details begin to leak out, Democrats are livid as FLOTUS announces a “special tribute.”
Melania Trump could have hired a huge staff to pull off her first White House state dinner. That’s exactly what Michelle Obama and Hillary Clinton did as first ladies, but Melania refused to give in to the pressure of planning such a prestigious event. She took charge of planning the entire evening with no detail too small for her approval.
CNN reports, “So confident was [Melania] Trump about her ability to handle something like a state dinner, with its myriad details, that the first lady would not hire an event planner to help, as previous first ladies have done in the past to manage the grandeur and spectacle.”
They add, “For example, the final state dinner of the Obama administration, its 14th, was a tented affair for former Italian Prime Minister Matteo Renzi, held on the South Lawn of the White House for 400 guests. Michelle Obama wore a custom, chainmail Atelier Versace gown; Mario Batali cooked, and Gwen Stefani entertained.”
For the Trump administration’s first state dinner, there will be none of that. There will also be none of the paparazzi element that has come with past state dinners; celebrity supporters of the President are harder to come by than they were for Obama.
“A smaller, more elegant event allows a guest to have a more personal experience, and that is very important to Mrs. Trump,” said Stephanie Grisham, Mrs. Trump’s closet aide, who confirmed the dinner will take place in the State Dining Room, which can hold about 100-150 seated guests.
After months of preparations, @POTUS and I are looking forward to hosting our first State Dinner with France! Thank you to everyone who has worked so hard to make this visit a success. 🇺🇸 🇫🇷 pic.twitter.com/j7fKmUhISJ
Mrs. Trump has also been doing some homework, educating herself about the protocol and history of these sorts of White House events. This is to ensure her selections for the Macrons’ visit have meaning behind them, down to the china, flowers, color scheme, and menu, which, while American, will highlight the influence France has had on American cuisine.
But, as details leaked out, the Democrats are livid. First, President Donald Trump decided he didn’t want anyone there who has not been supportive of his administration, which means, yep, you guessed it, no Democrats got an invite. Trump also shunned the mainstream media; they won’t be allowed access.
Then, there’s Mrs. Trump special tribute to the Macrons, which has the Trump-haters doing backflips. Melania loves giving gifts with a special meaning, and she has outdone herself with her original choice for the Macrons and France. Mrs. Trump’s special tribute gift will be a framed section of upholstery from one of the chairs in the White House Blue Room.
Featuring a golden eagle surrounded by laurels, the chair was part of the furniture suite inspired by Pierre-Antoine Bellangé, the famous French designer who was commissioned to create 53 carved and gilded pieces for the Blue Room by President James Monroe in 1817.
Five thugs brutally attacked three innocent Americans outside a famous Philadelphia restaurant, and the police are making this case a top priority. The victims were grabbing a bite to eat after attending a wedding when they were savagely beaten and left for dead. Now, police are in panic mode over one chilling detail.
Patrick Kane and his wife Brooke had just attended a friend’s wedding with another couple when they stopped at Geno’s Steakhouse, a Philadephia area road stand that serves famous Philly cheesesteaks. After finishing their meal, the couples went to the parking lot where disaster struck.
A group of five Muslims first brutally attacked Brooke’s friend after she asked one of them for a cigarette. The Muslim guys just lost their minds and started screaming, “Don’t mess with us, we belong to ISIS.” Within seconds, one man stood up, put his hand over the face of Brooke’s friend, and pushed her across the sidewalk, Patrick Kane recalled.
Kane then described being surrounded and said everything was happening so fast. “They just snapped and started yelling, ‘We belong to Isis.’ He shoved the one girl, hit my wife, the other guy and I tried to jump in. All of a sudden what started as one guy became five, five guys started attacking everybody,” Kane said.
According to the Philly Inquirer, “Police did not provide information about the assault but said the video of it was ‘too graphic’ to release.” The police did release a portion of the video, which shows all five thugs right before the attack as they seemed to be conspiring to send their driver to the car for a fast getaway.
Patrick Kane is so pissed off that he refused to stay anonymous. His friends, the other couple, are in a hospital fighting for their lives, and police are keeping their information confidential, fearing retribution, as the scumbags are still at large.
Pictures show his badly beaten face. “I got punched in the nose, then I got punched in the back of the head, I got two uppercuts to the face,” said Kane. Luckily, the thugs were spotted by other patrons, who called 911, and Kane believes they all could have been otherwise killed.
This disturbing Philadelphia attack of innocent Americans, obviously perpetrated by ISIS sympathizers, has the local Philly police panicked with how to approach it. We see them not disclosing the vital video portion of the attack or even giving a statement on the nature of the attack itself.
Will this become the norm as we go forward in America? Yes. Law enforcement is crippled in doing their jobs, and we know this following the recent terrorist attacks. Remember, the authorities are doing everything they can to cover-up all references to Islamic terrorism, and as Americans, we are at risk because of it.
Knowing this, we must demand that the insane policy to cover-up all Islamic terrorist-related acts stop. We will not be safe in our local communities until our police agencies are cleared to act on terroristic threats and let Americans know when they are in danger. This attack in Philadelphia proves there is a game being played with our lives, and it’s time those idiots in Washington know we are done with them sacrificing innocent Americans on the altar of political correctness as to not offend the terrorists waging jihad against us.
A gorgeous teen from Palm Harbor, Florida was excited to get ready for and go to her senior prom. However, her night took an unexpected turn after she put on her prom dress. Police would soon arrive, and she was left crying once they revealed to her why they were there.
Just like every other high school girl, Aleena Kondek couldn’t wait for the day she went to prom. Unfortunately, after the death of her father, Police Officer Charlie Kondek, the day has since turned into a painful reminder that her father wouldn’t be there for the special occasion.
Although Aleena knew the day would be difficult, she was still excited to get all dressed up and go to prom. As she went throughout the day of prom getting ready, she never could have expected who would show up to escort her to the event – her father’s co-workers and brothers in blue from Tarpon Springs Police Department.
“It’s our responsibility and our honor to stand in for Charlie,” said Tarpon Springs Police Maj. Jeff Young, according to 7 News. “Charlie would be here, and he’s not able to be here, so we want to be here for Charlie and for Aleena.”
Aleena was absolutely shocked. She had no idea that the men had planned on stepping in for her father on such an important day to her. “They always say, ‘never forgotten,’ and I totally believe that,” she said. “They’re always texting me, ‘How are you doing?’ and they step in with things that my dad did, and they’re amazing. I love each and every one of them.”
Before the prom, the men lined up, shedding tears as they felt honored to lead Charlie’s daughter to the big dance. “[We’re] sad because we have to be here,” Young explained, according to WFXT. “Honored, because we can be here.”
“I know he’s always with me,” Aleena admits. “I just kept smiling throughout the day because I know he’s watching down and I know he’s probably tearing up watching me put makeup on and getting my hair done.” She continued, “They’re my dad’s brothers, and they’ve been stepping in, and they’re amazing.”
Although the teen from River Ridge High School may be missing her father, that void is far less deep than it could have been, thanks to these kind police officers who have helped to fill it with love. We here at Mad World News would like to thank all police officers who go above and beyond – you are appreciated for all that you do.
WASHINGTON — Mitt Romney will face a GOP primary battle after losing the Senate nominationoutright from Republican delegates this weekend in Utah.
Romney could have avoided the June 26 primary election if he had won support from 60 percent of delegates at the Utah GOP state convention.
Instead, a state lawmaker named Mike Kennedy beat Romney on Saturday as the choice among GOP activists to succeed retiring Republican Sen. Orrin Hatch. Kennedy got 51 percent of the vote, compared to Romney’s 49 percent.
Romney blamed his defeat on his decision to safeguard his place on the primary ballot by gathering 28,000 signatures to do so — the only one of the 12 Senate hopefuls to do so.
Convention attendees tend to not like candidates who put their fate outside the hands of the delegates. Activists have sought to overturn the state law allowing signature gathering because it weakens the significance of the convention, the Tribune reported.
“I know there were many people who were not enthusiastic about someone gathering signatures,” Romney said. But pursuing both paths “was right for me. I’m glad I did it that way.”
Kennedy is a doctor and a lawyer who pledged to shake up the status quo if elected.
“I’m tired,” Kennedy told delegates. “You know what I’m really tired of? I’m tired of business as usual in Washington, DC. If you want things to change, you need to vote for change.”
Romney, the 2012 GOP presidential nominee and former Massachusetts governor, sought to ditch the perception of dominance.
“Some people I’ve spoken with have said this is a David vs. Goliath race, but they’re wrong,” Romney said in his speech.
Sen. Chuck Schumer on Sunday said he agrees with President Trump’s “squeezing” of China on trade issues — because it’s the best way to get at North Korea.
“China is not helpful to the United States, they’re happy to see us in trouble. And the way to get at them is by what is the mother load for China — their trade with us,” the Senate Minority leader said in an interview with AM-970 radio host John Catsimatidis.
“They take advantage of American workers of American wealth, of American companies regularly, I call them rapacious,” he added, in a rare moment of agreement between the top Dem and the Republican president.
Schumer, who Trump has called “Cryin’ Chuck” in his tweets, said Trump’s tough stance with China will help in negotiations with North Korea, noting that 90 percent of North Korea’s trade is with China, he said.
“If we keep squeezing China, I believe China could ultimately squeeze North Korea and we could get a good deal,” he said. “But if we stop being tough with China on trade they’ll stop pushing North Korea and we’ll get nowhere.”
Schumer’s view on trade is closer to Trump’s than those of former presidents Obama and Bush, the senator said.
“It’s economics that’s the key to getting to China and Trump is on the right path,” he said.
But Schumer still doesn’t agree with how Trump did “certain things,” including implementing tariffs, he said.
In recent weeks, the Trump administration announced $50 billion in tariffs against Chinese imports to the US and has threatened to impose another $100 billion.
“I just finished speaking to @realDonaldTrump, after speaking to him several times today. I also met with and spoke to Director Pompeo,” the Kentucky Republican said in a series of tweets explaining his change of heart.
“After calling continuously for weeks for Director Pompeo to support President Trump’s belief that the Iraq war was a mistake, and that it is time to leave Afghanistan, today I received confirmation the Director Pompeo agrees with @realDonaldTrump,” he wrote.
“President Trump believes that Iraq was a mistake, that regime change has destabilized the region, and that we must end our involvement with Afghanistan,” he continued.
“Having received assurances from President Trump and Director Pompeo that he agrees with the President on these important issues, I have decided to support his nomination to be our next Secretary of State.”
His announcement came as the committee was set to vote on Pompeo.
He faced a tough fight there, but with Paul’s support and the backing of several Democrats he will be able to win a vote by the full Senate.
Senator Joe Manchin (D – W.Va) has broken with his party’s line and will be the second Democrat to vote to confirm Mike Pompeo as Secretary of State.
Manchin tweeted, “After meeting with Mike Pompeo, discussing his foreign policy perspectives, & considering his distinguished time as CIA Director & his exemplary career in public service, I will vote to confirm Mike Pompeo to be our next Secretary of State.”
Pompeo likely has the votes to be confirmed, but Manchin’s vote is helpful considering Rand Paul will be voting “no.”
On Monday, President Trump called out the “Obstructionist” Democrats.
Trump tweeted, “Hard to believe Obstructionists May vote against Mike Pompeo for Secretary of State. The Dems will not approve hundreds of good people, including the Ambassador to Germany. They are maxing out the time on approval process for all, never happened before. Need more Republicans!”
It’s time for the Democrats to stop their crying and whining and jump on the Trump train!
