Our president is not only an astounding businessman, but he’s an empathetic man; a unique and pleasing combination.

On Friday, President Trump pardoned former Navy sailor Kristian Saucier, who had spent a year in prison after taking photos in a classified nuclear submarine.

Specifically, Saucier had served as machinist’s mate on the USS Alexandria and took pictures with his smartphone, which he had done to reserve the memories, which he had stated numerous times. He did recognize his mistake, and took his punishment with grace.

During Trump’s presidential campaign, he likened the handling of this particular case with former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton’s email server situation – he pointed out the evident and disgusting political motivations behind the two.

On Saturday morning, Saucier went on “Fox & Friends” to express his enormous gratitude toward Trump and the amazing gift he’s granted him,

“He’s an amazing man, and this is just one of the many great things that he’s done in his term.”

Saucier stated that once he knew of the pardon, he requested permission to remove his ankle bracelet – which was on due to house arrest – to which Fox News host Pete Hegseth regarded as proof of Saucier’s “honesty” and “integrity” during his sentencing.

Saucier closed with some very sobering thoughts about our justice system, and also some hopeful forecasting for Trump’s America,

“… I honestly believe that the systems that went after me were put in place to protect people like me until I was run through the ringer. And it’s unfortunate because I still love this country. It’s still the greatest country in the world. And I believe President Trump’s taking it back to that place where it needs to be.”

That’s some big shoes for Trump to fill, yet we can see here that he fills them quite nicely. Great job, President Trump! What do you think about this pardon? Share your thoughts in the comment section!
