UN votes 14-1 to NULLIFY Trump’s jerusalem decision,Than NIKKI HALEY shows them who’s boss

A UN security council resolution calling for the withdrawal of Donald Trump’s recognition of Jerusalem as Israel’s capital has been backed by every council member except the US, which used its veto.

The unanimity of the rest of the council was a stark rebuke to the Trump administration over its unilateral move earlier this month, which upended decades of international consensus.

The Egyptian-drafted resolution did not specifically mention the US or Trump but expressed “deep regret at recent decisions concerning the status of Jerusalem”.

A spokesman for the Palestinian president, Mahmoud Abbas, responded to the veto by saying it was “unacceptable and threatens the stability of the international community because it disrespects it”.

The UK and France had indicated in advance that they would would back the text, which demanded that all countries comply with pre-existing UN security council resolutions on Jerusalem, dating back to 1967, including requirements that the city’s final status be decided in direct negotiations between Israel and the Palestinians.

The resolution was denounced in furious language by the US ambassador to the UN, Nikki Haley, who described it as “an insult” that would not be forgotten. “The United States will not be told by any country where we can put our embassy,” she said.

“It’s scandalous to say we are putting back peace efforts,” she added. “The fact that this veto is being done in defence of American sovereignty and in defence of America’s role in the Middle East peace process is not a source of embarrassment for us; it should be an embarrassment to the remainder of the security council.”

The Israeli prime minister, Benjamin Netanyahu, tweeted: “Thank you, Ambassador Haley. On Hanukkah, you spoke like a Maccabi. You lit a candle of truth. You dispel the darkness. One defeated the many. Truth defeated lies. Thank you, President Trump.”The tabling of the resolution followed a weekend of negotiations aimed at securing the widest consensus possible on the issue. The vote has underlined once again the widespread international opposition to the US move, even among some of its closest allies.

It came ahead of a planned trip by the US vice-president, Mike Pence, to Jerusalem on Wednesday that was set to take place amid a deep rupture in US-Palestinian relations.

However, Pence announced on Monday night that he was postponing the trip until February, citing the imminent congressional votes on tax reform, set to take place in the House and Senate starting on Tuesday. “The vice-president is committed to seeing the tax cut through to the finish line,” his spokeswoman said.

Abbas’s Fatah party has called for a day of demonstrations in the occupied Palestinian territories to coincide with the Pence trip.

Palestinian officials had warned that in the event of a US veto on the security council, they would also seek a resolution at the general assembly.

The push for a vote – which came in the knowledge that the US would use its veto – followed Trump’s decision to overturn decades of policy by declaring that the US recognises Jerusalem as Israel’s capital and that he plans to move its embassy there.

Speaking before the vote, the UK’s ambassador to the UN, Matthew Rycroft, said the text was in line with London’s position on Jerusalem as an issue that must be resolved through negotiations.

In an apparent rejection of the authority of the security council, Israel’s ambassador to the UN, Danny Dann, said before the vote: “Members of the council can vote again and again – a hundred more times. It won’t change the simple fact that Jerusalem is, has been, and always will be the capital of Israel.”

In the immediate aftermath of the US veto, Abbas announced that the Palestinian leadership would move to seek full membership of the United Nations, and try to raise the issue at an emergency meeting of the UN general assembly.

Palestine was admitted to the UN under the same observer status as the Vatican, but the road to full state membership is more complicated than persuading 14 security council members to back existing resolutions on the status of Jerusalem.

While Palestinians would probably get sufficient votes in the UN general assembly, it would first need to secure nine affirmative votes in the security council for the recommendation, with no vetoes.

The Palestinians and their supporters in the UN appear to be attempting to force the Trump administration into using its veto in ways that isolate both Israel and the US, in the hope of drawing in wider international mediation of the peace process.

“It’s a diplomatic battle we are fighting,” one official told the Guardian. “And so far we are having results. It is clear to us that the United States cannot be a mediator and we need international

Abbas is expected to visit Saudi Arabia and France this week to rally support.

Trey Gowdy Just Released The Final Benghazi Report – NOT GOOD FOR HILLARY

Washington, D.C. – Select Committee on Benghazi Chairman Trey Gowdy (SC-04) released the following statement after the committee’s Majority released a mark of its investigative report:

“Chris Stevens, Sean Smith, Glen Doherty and Tyrone Woods were heroes who gave their lives in service to our country. Their bravery and the courageous actions of so many others on the ground that night should be honored.

“When the Select Committee was formed, I promised to conduct this investigation in a manner worthy of the American people’s respect, and worthy of the memory of those who died. That is exactly what my colleagues and I have done.

Now, I simply ask the American people to read this report for themselves, look at the evidence we have collected, and reach their own conclusions. You can read this report in less time than our fellow citizens were taking fire and fighting for their lives on the rooftops and in the streets of Benghazi.”

The committee’s proposed report is just over 800 pages long and is comprised of five primary sections and 12 appendices. It details relevant events in 2011 and 2012.

“Now, I simply ask the American people to read this report for themselves, look at the evidence we have collected, and reach their own conclusions.

The following facts are among the many new revelations in Part I:

Despite President Obama and Secretary of Defense Leon Panetta’s clear orders to deploy military assets, nothing was sent to Benghazi, and nothing was en route to Libya at the time the last two Americans were killed almost 8 hours after the attacks began. [pg. 141]
With Ambassador Stevens missing, the White House convened a roughly two-hour meeting at 7:30 PM, which resulted in action items focused on a YouTube video, and others containing the phrases “[i]f any deployment is made,” and “Libya must agree to any deployment,” and “[w]ill not deploy until order comes to go to either Tripoli or Benghazi.” [pg. 115]
The Vice Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff typically would have participated in the White House meeting, but did not attend because he went home to host a dinner party for foreign dignitaries. [pg. 107]
A Fleet Antiterrorism Security Team (FAST) sat on a plane in Rota, Spain, for three hours, and changed in and out of their uniforms four times. [pg. 154]
None of the relevant military forces met their required deployment timelines. [pg. 150]
The Libyan forces that evacuated Americans from the CIA Annex to the Benghazi airport was not affiliated with any of the militias the CIA or State Department had developed a relationship with during the prior 18 months. Instead, it was comprised of former Qadhafi loyalists who the U.S. had helped remove from power during the Libyan revolution. [pg. 144]
Rep. Mike Pompeo (KS-04) released the following statement regarding these findings:

“We expect our government to make every effort to save the lives of Americans who serve in harm’s way. That did not happen in Benghazi. Politics were put ahead of the lives of Americans, and while the administration had made excuses and blamed the challenges posed by time and distance, the truth is that they did not try.”

Rep. Martha Roby (AL-02) released the following statement regarding these findings:

“Our committee’s insistence on additional information about the military’s response to the Benghazi attacks was met with strong opposition from the Defense Department, and now we know why. Instead of attempting to hide deficiencies in our posture and performance, it’s my hope our report will help ensure we fix what went wrong so that a tragedy like this never happens again.”

The following facts are among the many new revelations in Part II:

Five of the 10 action items from the 7:30 PM White House meeting referenced the video, but no direct link or solid evidence existed connecting the attacks in Benghazi and the video at the time the meeting took place. The State Department senior officials at the meeting had access to eyewitness accounts to the attack in real time. The Diplomatic Security Command Center was in direct contact with the Diplomatic Security Agents on the ground in Benghazi and sent out multiple updates about the situation, including a “Terrorism Event Notification.” The State Department Watch Center had also notified Jake Sullivan and Cheryl Mills that it had set up a direct telephone line to Tripoli. There was no mention of the video from the agents on the ground. Greg Hicks—one of the last people to talk to Chris Stevens before he died—said there was virtually no discussion about the video in Libya leading up to the attacks. [pg. 28]
The morning after the attacks, the National Security Council’s Deputy Spokesperson sent an email to nearly two dozen people from the White House, Defense Department, State Department, and intelligence community, stating: “Both the President and Secretary Clinton released statements this morning. … Please refer to those for any comments for the time being. To ensure we are all in sync on messaging for the rest of the day, Ben Rhodes will host a conference call for USG communicators on this chain at 9:15 ET today.” [pg. 39]
Minutes before the President delivered his speech in the Rose Garden, Jake Sullivan wrote in an email to Ben Rhodes and others: “There was not really much violence in Egypt. And we are not saying that the violence in Libya erupted ‘over inflammatory videos.’” [pg. 44]
According to Susan Rice, both Ben Rhodes and David Plouffe prepared her for her appearances on the Sunday morning talk shows following the attacks. Nobody from the FBI, Department of Defense, or CIA participated in her prep call. While Rhodes testified Plouffe would “normally” appear on the Sunday show prep calls, Rice testified she did not recall Plouffe being on prior calls and did not understand why he was on the call in this instance. [pg.98]
On the Sunday shows, Susan Rice stated the FBI had “already begun looking at all sorts of evidence” and “FBI has a lead in this investigation.” But on Monday, the Deputy Director, Office of Maghreb Affairs sent an email stating: “McDonough apparently told the SVTS [Secure Video Teleconference] group today that everyone was required to ‘shut their pieholes’ about the Benghazi attack in light of the FBI investigation, due to start tomorrow.” [pg. 135]
After Susan Rice’s Sunday show appearances, Jake Sullivan assured the Secretary of the State that Rice “wasn’t asked about whether we had any intel. But she did make clear our view that this started spontaneously and then evolved.” [pg. 128]
Susan Rice’s comments on the Sunday talk shows were met with shock and disbelief by State Department employees in Washington. The Senior Libya Desk Officer, Bureau of Near Eastern Affairs, State Department, wrote: “I think Rice was off the reservation on this one.” The Deputy Director, Office of Press and Public Diplomacy, Bureau of Near Eastern Affairs, State Department, responded: “Off the reservation on five networks!” The Senior Advisor for Strategic Communications, Bureau of Near East Affairs, State Department, wrote: “WH [White House] very worried about the politics. This was all their doing.” [pg. 132]
The CIA’s September 13, 2012, intelligence assessment was rife with errors. On the first page, there is a single mention of “the early stages of the protest” buried in one of the bullet points. The article cited to support the mention of a protest in this instance was actually from September 4. In other words, the analysts used an article from a full week before the attacks to support the premise that a protest had occurred just prior to the attack on September 11. [pg. 47]
A headline on the following page of the CIA’s September 13 intelligence assessment stated “Extremists Capitalized on Benghazi Protests,” but nothing in the actual text box supports that title. As it turns out, the title of the text box was supposed to be “Extremists Capitalized on Cairo Protests.” That small but vital difference—from Cairo to Benghazi—had major implications in how people in the administration were able to message the attacks. [pg. 52]

Rep. Jim Jordan (OH-04) released the following statement regarding these findings:

“Obama Administration officials, including the Secretary of State, learned almost in real time that the attack in Benghazi was a terrorist attack. Rather than tell the American people the truth, the administration told one story privately and a different story publicly.”

Rep. Peter Roskam (IL-06) released the following statement regarding these findings:

“In the days and weeks after the attacks, the White House worked to pin all of the blame for their misleading and incorrect statements on officials within the intelligence community, but in reality, political operatives like Ben Rhodes and David Plouffe were spinning the false narrative and prepping Susan Rice for her interviews.”

The following facts are among the many new revelations in Part III:

During deliberations within the State Department about whether and how to intervene in Libya in March 2011, Jake Sullivan listed the first goal as “avoid[ing] a failed state, particularly one in which al-Qaeda and other extremists might take safe haven.” [pg. 9]
The administration’s policy of no boots on the ground shaped the type of military assistance provided to State Department personnel in Libya. The Executive Secretariats for both the Defense Department and State Department exchanged communications outlining the diplomatic capacity in which the Defense Department SST security team members would serve, which included wearing civilian clothes so as not to offend the Libyans. [pg. 60]
When the State Department’s presence in Benghazi was extended in December 2012, senior officials from the Bureau of Diplomatic Security were excluded from the discussion. [pg. 74]
In February 2012, the lead Diplomatic Security Agent at Embassy Tripoli informed his counterpart in Benghazi that more DS agents would not be provided by decision makers, because “substantive reporting” was not Benghazi’s purpose. [pg. 77]
Emails indicate senior State Department officials, including Cheryl Mills, Jake Sullivan, and Huma Abedin were preparing for a trip by the Secretary of State to Libya in October 2012. According to testimony, Chris Stevens wanted to have a “deliverable” for the Secretary for her trip to Libya, and that “deliverable” would be making the Mission in Benghazi a permanent Consulate. [pg. 96]
In August 2012—roughly a month before the Benghazi attacks—security on the ground worsened significantly. Ambassador Stevens initially planned to travel to Benghazi in early August, but cancelled the trip “primarily for Ramadan/security reasons.” [pg. 99]
Former Secretary of Defense Leon Panetta bluntly told the committee “an intelligence failure” occurred with respect to Benghazi. Former CIA Deputy Director Michael Morell also acknowledged multiple times an intelligence failure did in fact occur prior to the Benghazi attacks. [pg. 129]

Rep. Susan Brooks (IN-05) released the following statement regarding these findings:

“President Obama has said his worst mistake was ‘failing to plan for the day after … intervening in Libya.’ As a result of this ‘lead from behind’ foreign policy, the Libyan people were forced to make the dismal trade of the tyranny of Qadhafi for the terror of ISIS, Al-Qaeda and others. Although the State Department considered Libya a grave risk to American diplomats in 2011 and 2012, our people remained in a largely unprotected, unofficial facility that one diplomatic security agent the committee interviewed characterized as ‘a suicide mission.’”

Rep. Lynn Westmoreland (GA-03) released the following statement regarding these findings:

“One of the most concerning parts of the State Department’s policy in Libya was its reliance upon the militias of an unstable nation to protect our men and women in Benghazi. These were by no means forces that could adequately protect Americans on the ground, and the State Department knew it. But the appearance of no boots on the ground was more important to the administration.”

Part IV of the report reveals new information about the Select Committee’s requests and subpoenas seeking documents and witnesses regarding Benghazi and Libya, and details what the Obama administration provided to Congress, what it is still withholding, and how its serial delays hindered the committee’s efforts to uncover the truth.

Part V proposes 25 recommendations for the Pentagon, State Department, Intelligence Community, and Congress aimed at strengthening security for American personnel serving abroad and doing everything possible to ensure something like Benghazi never happens again, and if it does, that we are better prepared to respond.

The Select Committee intends to convene a bipartisan markup to discuss and vote on the proposed report on July 8, 2016. All members of the committee will have the opportunity to offer changes in a manner consistent with the rules of the House.

Smug Muslim Diplomat Calls U.S. ‘Blatant Bully,’ Nikki Haley Shuts Him Up With 1 Sentence

Ahead of Thursday’s U.N. vote on a resolution to condemn President Donald Trump’s decision to move our embassy in Israel to Jerusalem, a smug diplomat called the United States a “blatant bully.” Not one to roll over and take such disrespect, U.S. Ambassador to the United Nations Nikki Haley shut him up with one perfect sentence.

In a tweet on Wednesday, Reuters’ Michelle Nichols referred to a “senior diplomat from a Muslim country” who reacted to a letter from Haley ahead of Thursday’s U.N. vote.

“A senior diplomat from a Muslim country, speaking on condition of anonymity, said of @nikkihaley‘s letter: ‘States resort to such blatant bullying only when they know they do not have a moral or legal argument to convince others,’” Nichols tweeted.

Haley immediately fired back, writing, “Actually it is when a country is tired of being taken for granted.”

Indeed, the U.S. has allowed other foreign bodies at the UN to take advantage of our generosity for far too long, and taxpayers have had enough.

This smug Muslim diplomat and others like them would do well to consider the fact that the majority of the UN’s funding comes from the U.S. It’s a bit difficult to see how we could be “bullying” other countries when, quite literally, we are the ones paying their tab. Bullies typically take money, not supply it.

U.S. Ambassador to the United Nations Nikki Haley is not about to let America be insulted by another country and promptly shot back at a Muslim nation’s diplomat for calling the U.S. a bully.

In a tweet on Wednesday, Reuters’ Michelle Nichols referred to a “senior diplomat from a Muslim country” who reacted to a letter from Haley ahead of Thursday’s U.N. vote on a resolution to condemn the U.S. decision to move the embassy in Israel to Jerusalem.

The unnamed diplomat complained about America’s “blatant bullying.”

But Haley shot right back with a tweet in response. [Source: BPR]

Haley also tweeted that the U.S. would be “taking names” during Thursday’s vote, which is aimed at getting President Trump to withdraw his decision to move the U.S. Embassy, ultimately, recognizing Jerusalem as Israel’s capital.

“As you know, the General Assembly is considering a resolution about President Trump’s recent decision on Jerusalem,” Haley wrote in the letter. “As you consider your vote, I want you to know that the President and U.S. take this vote personally.”

She added that 22 years ago, “the U.S. Congress declared that Jerusalem should be recognized as the capital of Israel and that the U.S. Embassy should be located in Jerusalem. President Trump affirmed that declaration by officially recognizing Jerusalem as the capital of Israel.”

The Jerusalem resolution to be presented to the General Assembly on Thursday is similar, although not identical, to the one presented to the Security Council last week.

In the Security Council vote, the United States vetoed the United Nations Security Council draft resolution that was proposed by Egypt and called for the reversal of Mr. Trump’s recognition of Jerusalem as the capital of Israel.

The vote was held in response to Mr. Trump’s announcement earlier this month that the U.S. recognizes Jerusalem as Israel’s capital.

After the vote, U.S. Ambassador to the United Nations Nikki Haley said the U.S. does not veto resolutions lightly and that this was her first veto — that it stood for “American sovereignty” and its role in the Middle East peace process.  [Source: CBS News]

President Donald Trump praised Nikki Haley’s backbone during his Cabinet meeting at the White House on Wednesday, saying, “I like the message that Nikki sent yesterday at the United Nations, for all of these nations that take our money and then they vote against us at the Security Council, or they vote against us potentially at the assembly.”

Trump continued, “They take hundreds of millions of dollars and even billions of dollars and then they vote against us, well, we’re watching those votes,” warning, “Let ’em vote against us. We’ll save a lot. We don’t care. But this isn’t like it used to be where they could vote against you and then you pay them hundreds of millions of dollars and nobody knows what they’re doing.”

Indeed, the Obama-era policy of shelling out billions whilst letting the rest of the world walk all over us is officially dead. If the UN and foreign countries want U.S. aid, they better realize that there’s a new sheriff in town, and his name is Donald J. Trump.

After April Ryan Asked Her Nasty Question, Sarah Sanders Tore Her Apart In This Viral Video

Sarah Sanders is in a fight with April Ryan and it is getting nastier. Earlier this week, Sarah Sanders started sharing step-by-step tweets about her baking a pie. This is in response to April Ryan from CNN accusing her of not making the pie that she posted a pic of on Thanksgiving.

It was called Piegate. You can check out the videos below, but let’s take a look at what Sarah Sanders said today right in April Ryan’s face.
You can watch the moment occur here at the 6-minute mark.

April Ryan got pied in the face. Check out the ongoing feud that Sarah Sanders and April Ryan have kept after #piegate.

Excited to share these at tomorrow’s press potluck. Merry Christmas to the WH press corps!
White House press secretary Sarah Sanders expects to share some of her pecan pie with White House correspondent April Ryan on Thursday afternoon and settle a three-week feud regarding whether the government spokesperson bakes her own desserts.

“April, I am looking forward to having some pie with you here momentarily,” Sanders told the American Urban Radio Network reporter as she departed the White House press briefing.
The food fight started on Thanksgiving Day when Sanders posted a picture of a chocolate pecan pie she had just baked.
I am not trying to be funny but folks are already saying #piegate and #fakepie Show it to us on the table with folks eating it and a pic of you cooking it. I am getting the biggest laugh out of this. I am thankful for this laugh on Black Friday!
The two women went back and forth on Twitter. Ryan deemed the incident “PieGate” and demanded Sanders post additional photos of the pie to prove it was at her family’s house and not store bought. Ryan said she wouldn’t eat a pie Sanders had cooked because she didn’t trust what was in the pie.
Sanders did not share what the two will discuss during their meeting Thursday.
Sarah Sanders is hilarious and is beating the media every time they try and go after her. We need to keep fighting for Sarah Sanders because she is
Everyone have a wonderful holiday and eat lots of real pies. Even if the mainstream media tries to tell you that they are fake pies, trust your own gut. A pie is a pie and the MSM is the enemy of the American people.
They are starting to get harder and harder to stomach. Let’s show some support for our heroes in the Trump administration that are fighting to make this country great.
Give Sarah a “GO!” in the comments.

BREAKING: It Just Happened! He Broke Federal Law And Will Be Heading To Prison – Trump FURIOUS!

Back in the good old days, traitors to this country were hanged by their necks until dead. Fast forward to today, and not only are treasonous politicians still in office, but they’re leading illegal acts of sabotage against our President and lying under oath. After recently learning that FBI director James Comey predetermined the outcome of the investigation into Hillary Clinton’s private email by not even investigating her, another unbelievable bombshell has just exploded about what he did with evidence against her. While Comey might have gotten away with his antics in the past, the felony he committed is so severe, he could soon be heading to prison and paying dearly for his unbelievable crimes against this country.

Comey’s illegal escapades began during the Senate Judiciary Committee last year where he lied under oath about Hillary Clinton not being guilty of using her private email server to store classified and above-top-secret documents. He’s popped his head out several times this year making various appearances before congressional committees to make contradictory or false statements while under oath, defiantly disregarding his position to uphold the law. Now Fox News just got their hands of a set of documents revealing that Comey intentionally tampered with evidence in order to water down the FBI’s findings. And that is a huge felony.

FBI Director James Comey addresses the media after visiting with employees and other law enforcement officials, Tuesday, April 5, 2016, in Detroit. (AP Photo/Carlos Osorio)

According to Fox News:

Newly released documents obtained by Fox News reveal that then-FBI Director James Comey’s draft statement on the Hillary Clinton email probe was edited numerous times before his public announcement, in ways that seemed to water down the bureau’s findings considerably.

Sen. Ron Johnson, R-Wis., chairman of the Senate Homeland Security Committee, sent a letter to the FBI on Thursday that shows the multiple edits to Comey’s highly scrutinized statement.

In an early draft, Comey said it was “reasonably likely” that “hostile actors” gained access to then-Secretary of State Hillary Clinton’s private email account. That was changed later to say the scenario was merely “possible.”

Another edit showed language was changed to describe the actions of Clinton and her colleagues as “extremely careless” as opposed to “grossly negligent.” This is a key legal distinction.

Johnson, writing about his concerns in a letter Thursday to FBI Director Christopher Wray, said the original “could be read as a finding of criminality in Secretary Clinton’s handling of classified material.”

He added, “The edited statement deleted the reference to gross negligence – a legal threshold for mishandling classified material – and instead replaced it with an exculpatory sentence.”

The edits also showed that references to specific potential violations of statutes on “gross negligence” regarding classified information and “misdemeanor handling” were removed.

Making false statements or tampering with a federal investigation is a serious federal crime, as spelled out in Section 1001 of Title 18 of the United States Code. A number of people have been convicted and sent to prison for far less crimes than Comey, including Martha Stewart, whose crimes were extremely minor when compared to what Comey schemed up with Hillary. The former FBI director could also be tried for many additional felonies, as this statute is used to prove perjury, false declarations, and obstruction of justice; all crimes that Comey committed in the case of Hillary Clinton.

It’s time that President Trump drains the swamp and holds these swamp rats accountable for their crimes once and for all. The FBI is now fully operating as essentially Obama’s secret police, as these law enforcement agencies are now doing the bidding of slimy politicians, rather than upholding their oath, which is to pursue impartial justice on behalf of the public.

The FBI continues to prove just how out of control they are, as these agents clearly considers themselves above the law. Until they are throw in prison, they’ll continue to do serve as the foot soldiers for swamp creatures like Hillary Clinton, who still isn’t giving up on her dreams to become president in 2020.

Trump Case $4 Million Verdict Announced, Even Donald Is Speechless

Trump’s enemies are very resourceful in finding new ways to attack the President.

They have done pretty much everything, from false accusations to pushing conspiracy theories about his involvement with the Russians. The liberal lawmakers are determined on an impeachment.

Some of them even throw lawsuits against the President, as if they would hold up in court.

Among them there is one Republican political strategist who is also an anti-Trumper. She went after the President on national TV and even continued on, on her twitter account. She even decided to go after him in the courtroom.

According to Breitbart: A New York appeals quickly gave out a $4 million defamation suit against President Donald Trump from a Republican consultant who is claiming that the President has negatively affected her career by calling her a “real dummy” on Twitter.

The Manhattan appeals court reached a decision to dismiss Cheri Jacobus’s lawsuit. It noted that the lawsuit  “was correctly dismissed in the absence of actionable factual allegations that tended to disparage her in the way of her profession, trade or business…”

Cheri Jacobus, a Republican political strategist decided to file a $4 million lawsuit against Donald Trump after her appearance on CNN, on February 2016 to criticize Trump’s campaign for it’s lack of transparency. As a response to that, Trump tweeted that she was “‘a real dummy’ who ‘begged’ his campaign for a job.”

Trump merely responded to her critique but, somehow Jacobus was under the impression that she had the right to sue. We all have to agree that her claim that Trump’s tweet damaged her career is a bit far fetched.

She is being very hypocritical here. What if Trump decides to sue her for damaging his career with her critique?

She thought that the court would take her side for some reason. Maybe on account of her being a woman or maybe she assumed that they might not like Trump as well. But, in the end the court decided to not waste it’s time with such nonsense accusations.

It turns out you can’t just sue someone over a tweet. The fact that President Trump speaks his mind has nothing to do with her damaged career.

A Little Christmas Present For Hillary Clinton … [New Investigation]

Attorney General Jeff Sessions hs ordered an investigation into the shady Uranium One deal.

According to NBC:

On the orders of Attorney General Jeff Sessions, Justice Department prosecutors have begun asking FBI agents to explain the evidence they found in a now dormant criminal investigation into a controversial uranium deal that critics have linked to Bill and Hillary Clinton, multiple law enforcement officials told NBC News.

Merry Christmas, Hill!

The interviews with FBI agents are part of the Justice Department’s effort to fulfill a promise an assistant attorney general made to Congress last month to examine whether a special counsel was warranted to look into what has become known as the Uranium One deal, a senior Justice Department official said.

At issue is a 2010 transaction in which the Obama Administration allowed the sale of U.S. uranium mining facilities to Russia’s state atomic energy company. Hillary Clinton was secretary of state at the time, and the State Department was one of nine agencies that agreed to approve the deal after finding no threat to U.S. national security.

In recent weeks, FBI agents who investigated the case have been asked by Justice Department prosecutors to describe the results of their probe. The agents also have been asked if there was any improper effort to squash a prosecution, the law enforcement sources say.

The senior Justice Department official said the questions were part of an effort by the Sessions team to get up to speed on the controversial case, in the face of allegations from Congressional Republicans that it was mishandled.

There are a BUNCH more details, and you can read them all at the sourcelink above.

Honestly, I’m not holding my breath as far as something actually coming of this… BUT I do love the idea of Hillary running around yelling at people right now.

Just In: We Now Know Why Pence is on a Surprise Trip!

Vice President Pence confused people earlier when it was discovered that the VP was on a surprise trip to Afghanistan.

Pence had previously postponed a trip to the middle east, and nothing was publicly announced about a sudden trip to Afghanistan.

We have now learned what the trip is all about, and it makes us proud to know why our VP is there.

Vice President Pence makes a surprise trip to Afghanistan to wish our troops a Merry Christmas.

abcnews.go.com reports: Vice President Mike Pence has landed in Afghanistan in a surprise trip to the troops before the holidays.

After landing at Bagram Airfield around 7.15 p.m local time, Pence met and shook hands with Afghanistan Ambassador John Bass and Gen. John W Nicholson, according to a press pool report. The other greeters included Command Sgt. Maj. David Clark, Maj. Gen. Leopoldo Quintas, among others.

The visit comes just days after the vice president’s office announced the postponement of a trip to Israel and Egypt after President Donald Trump’s controversial decision to recognize Jerusalem as the official capital of Israel caused friction with some allies in the region. Pence’s office cited this week’s vote on tax reform as reasoning for him staying in Washington, and said he would instead make the visit in January.

The vice president will be meeting with service members and receive a briefing on the U.S. support for military operations in Afghanistan/Iraq.

Alabama Secretary of State Launches Fraud Investigation Following Roy Moore Senate Election Loss

Alabama Secretary of State John Merrill announced on Monday he was launching an investigation into potential voter fraud in the Alabama U.S. Senate special election, which took place last week.

Democrat Doug Jones won the election taking 49.9 percent of the vote to Republican Judge Roy Moore’s 48.4 percent, with approximately 20,700 votes separating the two, according to The New York Times.

Merrill explained to WALA that his office will be investigating statements made by a Doug Jones supporter at the candidate’s election night party. The unidentified man said that he and others came from around the country to vote for the Democrat.

WALA reporter Kati Weis asked him, “Why are you excited to see this victory?”

He responded, “Because, we came here all the way from different parts of the country as part of our fellowship, and all of us pitched in to vote and canvas together, and we got our boy elected!”

Merrill was asked about the man’s statement.

“Well, it’s very disconcerting when someone who’s not from Alabama says that they participated in our election, so now it’s incumbent upon us to try to identify this young man, to see what kind of role he played, if it was to simply play a canvassing roll, or if he was part of a process that went out and tried to register voters, or if he himself actually became a registered voter,” Merrill replied.

“We don’t have any evidence of people doing that, our numbers do not indicate that has happened, but when you have someone actually recorded on television saying that they voted, and that’s what he said, then we’ve got to get to the bottom of that,” the secretary of state added.

The Moore campaign has sent out multiple appeals over the last few days seeking contributions to investigate the allegations of voter fraud.

In a Tuesday email, Moore stated, “Our program to ensure the integrity of this election is up and running.”

“We’re already receiving reports of potential voter fraud and other irregularities from voters all across Alabama,” he said.

As reported by The Western Journal, Moore has not conceded the race to Jones yet.

In a video statement last week, the judge noted thousands of ballots including overseas military personnel and provisional ballots were yet to be counted.

Merrill’s office released the number of those ballots on Wednesday.

WHNT reported 366 ballots from overseas had been received and 2,888 of the 4,967 provisional ballots cast were verified and will be counted.

However, the difference will not be enough to trigger an automatic recount, even if all the ballots went to Moore. An automatic recount paid for by the state occurs only when there is a 0.5 percent difference or less between the candidates.

The Moore campaign can pay for a recount, which it would likely seek to do if evidence were found of significant voter fraud.

Merrill has indicated the election results will not be certified any earlier than Dec. 26 or later than Jan. 3.
